Nice place to visit and take photos, interesting history and great attraction. Nice place to start your walk around Krakow and have a brew at the nearby cafe/bars.

“Worth a Visit”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

For the paltry sum of 8 Zloty, you get to visit two of the old towns defensive structures. The Florian Gate and the Barbican Gate. I had a fantastic time going through them both. A chance to look out over the city and wonder what it was like hundreds of years before.. The tour is self guided and my wife and I were the only two there. Take the time to see this.. A wonderful piece of history

“nice entrance to the old city”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

Considering it has stood for hundreds of years is a feat in itself. Part of the defensive walls of the old town, and as not much more exists of them it is of great importance to the city.

This is the entrance into old town Krakow/market square. Great photo opportunities and there is usually a musician playing live tunes. I got some get pics there and of course, beers are not far away!
