“Immaculately preserved piece of history”
Reviewed 29 July 2014 via mobile

The gate itsekf itself is nothing special but is immaculately restored and gives you a perspective into historical life. You probably won't spend more than five minutes by the gate but just thinking about it as a historical fort and walled/gated community makes it worthwhile

Nothing spectacular if you've traveled around Europe.

Still, an attractive remnant of Krakow's city wall. Good view and photo op of the historic district from the interior, which includes a small chapel. The gate itself is also worth a photo.

“Krakow - St Florian's Gate - Well preserved part of history”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

At the top end of Ulica Florianska and part of the old fortifications and city wall is this superbly preserved and attractive Gothic gateway. Protected by the Barbican to the north Florian's Gate is part of Krakow's old history and stands as a simple structure representing the past, built in the fourteenth Century. You'll no doubt visit the street and the Barbican and take in the gate and with all that's going on around is a sight which you cannot miss. It's relatively small and simple but also beautiful.

“Entrance to the beautiful old city...”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

A very adequate entrance to the beautiful old city of Krakow. Despite it's age, it's perfectly preserved.
