Owner description: One of the most famous of Poland's churches, this Gothic structure features two striking towers, the taller of which is a magnificent Gothic spire with a gold-plated crown built in 1666.

Impressive church on the inside and out. We were initially confused, because you buy tickets across the small courtyard from the visitors entrance. Tickets were 10 zloty, but they charge an additional 5 if you want to take pictures. The inside was heavily policed for people taking pictures without the photo sticker, and that did take away from the experience a bit.

It is a beautiful Gothic style church with the two tall towers , inside it is amazingly beautiful especially the alter, as mass was on and it was overcrowded I was not able to spend more time and see all the side alters.

Do not miss this superb baroque church at Rynek Glowny, the central market, with the magnificent altar by Veith Stoss and the stone crucifix he also made.
Every full hour, high up in the tower, the man with the trumpet is giving his melody.

Take the visitors entrance around the corner after buying a ticket in the information opposite the entrance.

This Church in my opinio is not only istriking from outside it is as grand inside. The towers stand real tall and proud and the whole building is quite tall and pretty the inside is just so amazing that one wonders how it was built . It has the "luxurious " feel to it if such a term can be used for a church . The guy with hourly "trumpet" belowing from one the towers is really popular with the tourists as the all pointing the cameras skyward each hour he (could be she?) blows it. It is conveniently situated in the main square and one the main focal points can't miss it if tried i insisting Krakow.
