Owner description: Built of stone and brick at the end of the 13th century, this massive Gothic tower stands 70 meters tall and leans just 55 centimeters, a result of a strong wind in 1703.

“Best viewpoint over Krakow”
Reviewed 14 August 2014

The slightly leaning Town Hall tower provides the best vantage point for great views across Krakow. It sits just behind the Cloth Hall in the main square. At 70m high it is the only surviving part of the medieval Town Hall which was built in 1316. On the third floor there is an exhibition of old photographs and you can admire the workings of the tower's clock. Entry is 7pln and it is open from 10.30-5pm in summer only. There's around 100 steps and they are quite narrow.

“A bit of a hike but worth it!”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

Be prepared to climb several flights of uneven stairs, but once you are to the top there are very cool views of the city.

“Krakow - Town Hall Tower”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

This is a fairly impressive clock tower standing in the central square. It is the only remaining part of what was the old town hall complex. It is a good height and you can walk up the 130 or so steps for a view across central Krakow but time constraints meant I could only view this from outside. As clock towers go it is good and it fits well within the central area, but it does not have any wow factor. If you have time climb internally for the views otherwise admire from the square with the rest of the sights in the vicinity. Look out for the small bronze model of the larger complex which is an interesting little addition which I thought was great.

“Good from outside”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

The whole tower was good enough for me from its exteriors with its gothic style architecture and then combines with the square making a good view but the climb inside the tower was not a very good one since the steps are pretty high and they do not have proper handrails or information for that matter and at the end of all the trouble the view Is also not great so I would say, see and enjoy it from outside and move on to next place for better experience.

“you get what you see”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

This is the the only part of the 14th century Town Hall remaining, the 70m-high tower, proudly standing next to the Cloth Hall. Climb your way up the 130 odd steps through the Gothic vaulted rooms to the observation deck for views of the Rynek, Outside the tower you will also find a metal model of the old Town Hall as it looked in the 18th century. Only costs a couple of quid to get in.
