Apart from the items mentioned in the title, what else does one need? The Wawel is ideally situated within short walking distance of any tourist attraction near Rynek Glowny; it has recently refurbished rooms which combine the modern and tradition in an interesting manner); and it offers good breakfast. The beds are not the best possible, and the cushions and the linen are sort of worn out, but clean.

Room Tip: The rooms facing Poselska Street are on the noisy side, but nothing dramatic as the street is not a large throughfare.

This hotel is in a perfect location. I travelled alone and did not want to be too far from things. It is literally a two minute walk to the main square with many restaurants, bars, and markets. The staff was helpful. I was able to arrange transportation and store my luggage on the last day. The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The bathroom is very nice. The only complaint is the lack of products given in the bathroom. I am not a big fan of only receiving shower gel that also can be used as shampoo. The breakfast was not spectacular but it was enough to start your day. The waitress was very helpful and polite. The wifi was great. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Krakow. As a side note, the salt mine tour is very cool. I was hesitant to take the tour, but it is well worth it. Also, DO NOT EAT AT THE MEXICAN RESTAURANT NEXT DOOR! It was the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Everything tasted the same and the service was terrible. That being said, the Polish restaurant on the corner was fantastic.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights from 3rd September and must sty it's probably the best I have stayed in. Perfectly located my room, for a single traveller was big, beautifully decorated, quiet and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful arranging trips as requested before arrival. The Wellness centre is a must. My only complaint was the awful piped music at breakfast :-). I would highly recommend this hotel and will visit again soon.

We stayed here in Aug. 2013 and I can highly recommend Hotel Wawel. It is very pretty, only 2 blocks from the main market square, a short walk to Wawel Castle, the hotel is clean, comfortable, stylish. The staff friendly, professional, helpful. The breakfast plentiful, varied items and tasty.

What a great experience! Very close to Old Town, wonderful little restaurant for a great breakfast, great room! Ours had a tiny bathroom but everything that we needed. The staff was very helpful. There was an elevator for easy access to all rooms. Lovely little sunroom.
