This hotel is perfectly located in the Jewish District about a 30 min walk from the train station. The bars and restaurants surounding this Hotel serve fantastic beers and food at very good prices. My room was quiet, clean, superb, and roomy, staff are friendly, the centre of town is about a 15 minute walk but there is plenty to do in the jewish disrict.
I would recommend this place, I used it as a Hub to visit Oskar schindlers factory which is within walking distance, and via mini bus, Auschwitz and Birkenau and the salt mines.

We chose this Hotel for location in Kazimierz district close to old jewish quarter. We were allocated attic room which was ok with a double & 2 singles, room was tidy, bathroom a little dated but otherwise fine. The Hotel lacked a bar which is normally a focal point for meeting other guests etc. breakfast was OK with a good variety of cereals, cold meats, cheese etc.

My wife and I have just returned from Krakow having stayed at this hotel and if I were to return to this city I would stay here again.
The hotel is clean, well maintained and quiet it has free wifi which I had no problem connecting to, the password is in your room brochure . The staff are pleasant and helpful and the hotel is well placed being about a 10 minute walk from Wawel Castle and another 5 minute walk to the centre of the old town. There are a number of excellent restaurants near the hotel.
My only grip would be the breakfast which is a buffet and which was mostly cold meats, pickles, cheese, and bread. Cereal and fruit is also provided so I filled up on that.

This hotel is great and couldn't be better placed for the Kazimierz synagogues. They play this up by playing Klezmer music at breakfast even though the breakfast, being typically Polish (and very good), has a selection of pork cold cuts and cooked pork sausages! You can reach the famous central market square in 15 minutes walk. There are certainly plenty of hotels closer to this "main event", but I doubt they'd give you such value for money and it's a pleasant enough walk that takes you past some great sites anyway. I stayed here in December when it was -15C outside and had a well heated room, the bathroom was especially warm. The room was clean, most importantly the bathroom and bed linen had no noticeable blemishes or hairs. In my room, one of the plug sockets by the desk had come loose and had actually fallen out leaving bare wires! I couldn't be bothered to complain about this because I was so happy with everything else in the room, I didn't want to go elsewhere, but check the plugs on arrival if you stay here! They have WiFi, but every time I asked for a password I got a different one, and none of them worked - they need to get this sorted out too. Despite this, the reception staff themselves were lovely: courteous, patient, highly presentable and (WiFi aside) very well informed, this is a great place to stay.

For the price this was a good hotel. Location was good in the Jewish quarter and only about 15-20 minutes walk to Market square. Lots of nice bars and restaurants around, shame some of them close at 9.00pm felt we was a bit rushed to leave. Hotel service was ok the only complaint I had was we couldn't get any sound on sky news which was the only English Chanel even though we complained nothing seemed to get done about it!!!Bjl England
