“Great Value”

I was happily surprised by this place. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The reservation included breakfast buffet. The location was a short walk to the sights. I don't think you could find any better place for the same price as you'd spend here.

The only real flaw I could find witht his place was the bed... It was a bit like sleeping on a brick. If they would get better mattresses and maybe some blankets that comfortable cover two people it would make this the perfect hotel in my book.

My friend and I stayed here for three nights. Located on the edge of the Kazimierz district, the Hotel is within easy walking distance of the historic Jewish District, as well as the Wawel Castle and Old Town areas.

The Hotel has been gradually refurbished, but has kept many original features, giving it character and a sense of history, in keeping with it's location.

Reception staff were pleasant and very helpful. Everything from helping us find neighbouring hotels for excursion pickups to booking an airport taxi was arranged efficiently.

Our L-shaped room contained a double bed and two single beds and the layout of the beds on right angles to each other actually seemed to give us more personal space. The bathroom had been tastefully modernised, with plenty of towels and an easy-to-use shower. The room was spotlessly clean and, although we looked out on to a busy road, there was very little noise. Previous reviews have mentioned the square pillows, but I have to say, as a normally light sleeper, they must have suited me as I slept very well!

There was an extensive breakfast buffet, with hot items, cereal, fresh fruit and salad items, cold meats and cheeses, danish pastries and a few local delicacies. The fresh bread was delicious.

The Hotel is only a few minutes walk away from the heart of the Kazimierz district, with candlelit bars and restaurants, and plenty of local history.

I would be very happy to stay here again - I just need an excuse to return to Krakow!

The hotel is located within 10 minutes walk of Wawel castle, and around 20 minutes of the old town. It is though right next to the old jewish quarter and to that end some good restaurants bars museums, and fascinating judaica.

While I cant really fault the hotel in terms of you get what you pay for, the beds were hard, rooms a little tired, and pillows offered virtually no support. The breakfasts were ok, but we saw them leaving cornflakes and dried fruit out overnight, so that put us off somewhat. Common areas are probably in need of a refurb now, but if youre looking for a decent location then this will do the job, though I think I'd probably be more likely to stop at a Novotel next time as superficial as that sounds..

The views from the smoking rooms at the top of the building are outstanding of the castle but from mine and my wifes room we had a vierw of the back of the hotel. Time to take up smoking?

The location was wonderful on the edge of the Kazimierz, which was a great place to stay. There are restaurants, bookstores, museums, and synogagues all within a 5 minute walk, and easy walking to the trams to explore the rest of the city. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable.

An excellent three star hotel in the middle of Kazimierz. Easy to get there from the old town, public transport (trams) very near and a walkable distance from Wavel castle. Good bars and restaurants on every corner, easy to find a place to eat.

Extremely friendly staff, helped us with everything we needed and answered all our questions. Amazing breakfast (included in price), the best I have ever had at any hotel, a lot of variety! Room large and nice and clean, good shower. No safety deposit box in room, but they have one at the reception, and you get your own key to it (can only be opened with your key and the hotel staff's key simultaneously, so very safe).

Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Found the reception staff helpful. Room was clean. Bathroom was newly refurbished. Great power shower. Only problem I found was the weird pillows that were used in the beds. Very large and little support. A minor thing though. Continental breakfast was one of the best Ive seen. Great choice of fruits, cheeses, breads, and cold cuts. Large well laid out breakfast room with plenty of space. Generally had no problems at all and would stay here if visiting Krakow again.
