The hotel is beautiful and our room looked out across the Square...WOW!

My Mum and I visited to celebrate her 70th birthday and we were blown away by the just how fabulous the hotel and the staff were. We had dinner in the restaurant on our final evening and we loved every minute. It was like stepping back in time, we really enjoyed the dessert trolley and the amazing waiters.

We had a twin bedroom and it was without doubt one of the most gorgeous places I have slept. Mum and I found it challenging leaving our room, as our window view had us transfixed for hours as we looked out on the Christmas Market, the Old House and the Cathedral. We did not want to leave.

It is impossible to be better located. In the main square, old house, well restored and with two restaurants recommended by Michelin (it is recommendation, it is not a star, just a recommendation). All the people at the hotel are very nice and warm. A recommended place with the eyes closed.

We stayed here for a final romantic mini-break before our baby arrives and loved it. Everything was faultless, from the friendly and helpful staff, boutique style bedroom - try to get a room on the top floor if you can - to the breakfasts in the beautiful breakfast room. We had the largest room on the top floor which has a balcony - get it if you can. Decor was very modern and stylish and everything was really high quality. Lovely bathroom. The balcony overlooked the main square - the hotel is in the best location in Krakow and within easy walking distance of many attractions and fab restaurants (although avoid the main square tourist trap restaurants - we went to 3 great places we found on here - numbers 1, 2 and 3 in Krakow). As we left they said they hoped to see us again and that they always prepare some surprises for their little guests. We may well go back - best hotel we've been to in a long time.

Room Tip: Can't remember what our room number was, but it was the biggest one at the front on the top floo...

This hotel justifies all the positive comments it receives in TA. It's in a great location with lovely helpful staff, well equipped big rooms and very impressive restaurant/breakfast area. The only downside is the lack of a bar/lounge area but there are plenty of options in the square. My only other comment concerns tea at breakfast - i find tea from a machine never matches a teapot but this is a small point. I would certainly use again and recommend to others.

Tip - if travelling from the airport then ask the hotel to arrange the transfer. They seem to have their own car which is very reliable and driven by very friendly, knowledgeable man. Price is agreed upfront (90 zlotys).

Fantastic location on the main square.
Wonderful staff.
Good breakfasts.
Trips - we had a day at Auschwitz and another day cycling round the city - graves as it was All. Saints day and the whole town decorates the graves with candles and flowers, jewish quarter, schindlers factory, the castle etc.
Retaurants are good - our favourite was called the Pub and sold tubes of beer either 3 or 5 litres with some excellent food.
Krakow is great - not lively enough for stag or hen do's.

Room Tip: Room facing the square.

As other review confirm it is unbeatable in the location box. the staff provide an excellent service any issues are dealt with speedily. One is in a 4 star accommodation and in a hotel where they value their guests.
We thought a new visitor to this outstanding town should stay a couple of nights as a treat then try others as there are so many quality hotels in lovely spots in Krakow.

I stayed in this Hotel with my family for 3 nights in August. When we first arrived in our rooms and looked out the window, we realized how truly amazing this location is! We couldn't stop taking pictures from our third floor rooms. I had been concerned that it might be noisy at night, but the double windows really blocked out the noise.
The rooms are large, nicely decorated, and have a lot of conveniences. The bathroom, while not luxurious, was functional, although a couple of times the hotel said they didn't have extra towels for us.
The front desk, dining room, and housekeeping staff were all helpful and friendly. We arrived in a rental car, and the staff were very kind in meeting us a few blocks away, and then moving our car to a parking garage since we didn't need it while we were there.

I must comment on an incident that occurred after we checked out that shows how responsible and helpful they were. I forgot to check the contents of the room safe when we checked out of the hotel. I had placed a fairly large sum of American dollars in the safe. The hotel contacted us by e-mail within an hour or two of our departure. We exchanged a number of messages to figure out if there was a way to get this money to me (not easy!). Within a week or two, they had issued a money order to my bank in DC.
