The hotel is easy to find and there is ample parking along with a few deckchairs and chairs etc at the front. The rooms are big enough but everything feels slightly dirty. The sheets had small stains on, the shower has grime in and everything smelt of fried food. (This was mainly due to the rooms position above the kitchen but it meant that we couldn't open the windows in 30C heat.... tere was a small fan provided but not great) The breakfast was very average, some of the plates has stains on or discoloration. The cereal was very stale and the rest of the breakfast seemed to consist of the cheapest options available. Also there was no lift, which is no fun when you are lugging 2 huge suitcases up.

Room Tip: Don't get a room over the kitchen, also unless you have picked the hotel for the free parking th...

The hotel itself was nice and great value. The rooms were nice, clean but fairly basic. Breakfast was plentiful and always being topped up and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was a little out of the way but the walk into the centre is about 30 mins. Taxis are cheap though so this wasn't a problem. The evening meals were reasonable and we enjoyed the Bigos - not a huge meal but tasty all the same. If I returned to Krakow I would definitely stay at the Petrus Hotel again. A great cheap holiday!

We stayed here for five days. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms (clean). For the price they charge, you get excellent quality. The rooms do not have airconditioning, on a sunny day it can get quite hot.

The hotel is outside the city center. You can walk to a busstop (10 minutes) or to the tramstop (25 minutes).

We didn't eat dinner in the hotel's restaurant, but other guests told us that they serve good food.

Excellent hotel if you want to visit Cracow for a citytrip and you are in een good healthy shape.

After a short trip to Poland with my husband we stayed at this hotel. We arrived at 10.30am on a Friday and did not realise check in was not until 2pm, but The staff were so friendly and after a 20 minute wait they had our room ready just like that! The staff were very friendly and helpful :) room could do with a little updating decor wise but other than that perfect size and the bathroom had the best shower I've ever had in any hotel! Breakfast was fresh and plenty of choice and food was very nice when we had an evening meal and reasonably priced. Could not fault this hotel in anyway. Would highly recommend and if I travelled to krakow again I would stay here

I am struggling about how to write this review. There is nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, but the overall impression is not great. Location is ok and quiet, but you have to take a cab to reach the center of town. No big deal, since it is fairly cheap.
There is free parking and staff are friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good with standard european breakfst fare(cheeses, cold cuts, jams, butter coffee and tea).
The letdown are the rooms themselves. The furniture and bedding is so cheap and the rooms so small that you feel more like in a prison cell. The hotel looks new, so why are the carpets all stained and the furniture dented? Why are the single beds kid size? As an overnight stop the hotel did its job, but I wouldn't stay here on a vacation.

It's a nice hotel, in a nice quiet & upscale residential neighborhood. It's a bit out of the way to get to, far away from tram lines or bus lines that went into downtown. Took a taxi to & from the main train station. There's no lift, even though the hotel looks new or recently renovated. Also, at night, the lights in the hallway won't come on and you have to stumble your way through to get into your room.

The rooms themselves are very nice, as is the staff (knew English well), breakfast, etc.

Very good hotel for food, cleanliness and helpful cheerful staff just a bit out of the way. Once you get the hang of the trams though the problem is sorted and would be more than happy to stay here again.
