10 minutes walk from train station, 5 minutes from square
Always kept immaculately clean
We booked 4 nights through Expedia for just over £200
Close to bars and restaraunts, all of which are great value

Try the Dog in the Fog beer at the pub with the same name, just over the road

My husband and I stayed at the Campanile Krakow for two nights in late March. We weren't expecting much from a two-star hotel however based on TA reviews we went ahead and booked. Note: Check the hotel's website direct for special offers, as these can be up to 50% less than on other sites. (Unfortunately I learned this after booking a package on a third-party site :o(

The hotel was modern, our room very spacious and comfortable, quiet and cleaner than any other hotel room I think I've ever stayed in! We arrived at 11am yet only had to wait 5 mins before being given the keys to our room.

The only issue we had was with the air-con which was only blowing out hot air making the room far too stuffy. The temperature gauge was unworkable so the person sent to our room to help us advised we turn it off complete, which we did. If you had to keep the window open the noise from the trams on the ring road would have been annoying, but with the window closed the room is very quiet. Reading other TA reviews it seems rooms away from the park side of the hotel may escape the road noise.

The staff were polite and helpful, and spoke good English. We didn't breakfast at the hotel (32PLN per person) so can't comment on the quality. Hotel location on the edge of the Old Town was PERFECT - just 2 mins walk from the main square yet away from noise of pubs/bars/main thoroughfares. Just 10 mins walk to the main train station (Krakow Glowny) and the huge shopping mall. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

We stayed at the Campanile for 3 nights. It's central location and cost made it good value for money.

You know what you'll get at a Campanile, decent budget accommodation. We only wanted a comfortable room to rest after a days sightseeing and that's what you get. No frills but perfectly adequate.

My one complaint was the breakfast, at 32PLZ per person it was really poor value, we only ate there once. There are several places in and around the main square and that is where I would recommend you go, better food and much nice sorroundings.

Hi All
Just a few words regarding our January stay at the Campanile hotel krakow.
We booked the Campanile through booking.com and got a very reasonable rate of £30 a night excl. Breakfast. We thought for this cost it may not be too good but how plesently surprised we were.
This hotel was one of the best we have stayed at in Krakow. The first great point was the location. It was only about five minutes from the market square. The hotel itself was great. The room was lovely and big and very clean. Double bed and en suite. Coffee and tea making facilities.
Breakfast was 36 zloty each which was the usual continental breakfast but very nice.
You are very close to all the action with many pubs and resturants very close.
All in all the campanile was a great hotel and we would definately stay there again if we return to Krakow.

Went for a 3 day trip to Krakow (couple30,s),found Campanile on here. Hotel was spotlessly clean and in a great location , seemed to be a 5 min stroll from all the main areas, rooms very clean,if a touch basic, saying that had everything you need for a short break , great shower !! , hotel staff very helpful ,would certainly recommend this hotel as a good base to see Krakow.

Good if not exceptional rooms with aircon, which was nice. The best bit about this hotel was the location. Old Krakow is seperated by a ring of trees from the new (see google maps). It is best to get a hotel within this. The Campanile was just a few blocks from the centre. the hotel itself was very nice and clean and I would recommend it.

The Campanile was great. We stayed at the Campanile for two nights over a weekend. Although it was only a two star hotel the rooms were huge and very clean and tidy and we had the option of taking a non smoking room. I knew when I booked the hotel that it was close to the centre of town but I was very surprised to see it was only around the corner from the main square and only a 5 minute walk to the train station which was very convenient.
The girl on reception was very friendly when we arrived but on the day of departure the reception staff were not very helpful.
Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
