Located just outside the old city market square the Radisson Blu is in a prime location to satisfy the visitor's desire to see some of the city's major attractions. A visit to the old Jewish quarter and Shindler's famous factory will require a cab trip, about $7 US per cab, not per person.
A very short walk from the hotel brings one to the old city market square and streets with numerous dining.and shopping opportunities as well as several historic old churches.
The buffet style breakfast is more than adequate with decent choices.
The rooms are quite comfortable, clean and well maintained. Free WiFi is offered for those who desire to login.
Overall....while I wouldn't quite describe the Radisson as a five-star hotel by, say, Warsaw or Berlin standards, I highly recommend it for a great Krakow location and base for touring the Krakow attractions including an easy drive out to the Auschwitz-Birkenau sites. A trip to the Zakopone resort area will require at least 2 hrs. and that's if traffic permits.
