“A site to remember recent history”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

This was where the Jewish Ghetto started and the main square was used in Schindlers list when the Jews registered. On the edge of the square is the Polish Folk Museum with costumes from all regions of Poland, amongst other exhibits. Dig a bit deeper and the restaurants are well worth the visit.

“Great Place to Hang Out”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

The Kazimierz is a bubbly place with lots of places to hang out in:
bars, restaurants and cafes.
It has a happy vibe and it's fun to stroll the old streets looking for things.
Most of the Jewish places also have live Klezmer music shows in the evenings, which can be nice.

“shouldn't be left out”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

We went to Jewish District with Free Walking Tour. Free Walking Tour guides are very knowledgable about the history of this area.

After the tour I have truly enjoyed walking in the area and get lost. I have found lots of cute shops and a hole in the wall restaurants and coffee shops.

Add the Kazimierz district to your tour. You will not be disappointed.
