Hotel manager is very strange person - she used my VISA card number before I arrived and decided to cancel my booking!
We arrived very late ( around 23:30) and found us "without reservation". After this "welcome" words she took my printed reservation and say "By the case , I have your room free" and provide us with student room without air condition and hair drier just under the roof instead of my booked 2-rooms Suite, but took the same money !!! We had no chance to change something at the moment and agreed ...
Only next morning I insist to move to mt suite and next 2 night we spent as planned...
Hotel even rejected my request to refund me price difference between the first "student" room and my suite ... It was a very bad start for our trip to Krakov, but Krakov itself we liked very much ..
I would not recommend to book this hotel - just in order to avoid such surprises as we had...

Room Tip: Don't take "student" room under the roof - room 601 ! Suite 406 is good enough, but...

We came to Krakow for the Conference, so the main requirements were early breakfast and free wi-fi, so we could check e-mails and programs. Staff was very helpful and nice, rooms were clean, great location, nothing to complain about. But there was also nothing special.

A great hotel for your visit to Krakow. Located very near the main square, with many restaurants to choose from located just a short walk away. We found the room to be roomy with a clean bathroom (shower only--no tub). Breakfast featured hard-boiled eggs, bacon, luncheon meats, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, bread and cereals. It was plenty to begin our day. Wifi was free, but was most reliable in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions.

Room Tip: There isn't a lot of traffic on the road right in front of the hotel, but it can get a bit noisy...

If your looking for somewhere to stay that is extravagnt then this is not the place. The hotel classic is clean and staff are extremely helpful. This was my first ever holiday with my fiance and we couldnt have picked a better hotel to stay in. Literally around the corner from the main market square and near conevniance stores ,its location won me over. The continental breakfast had a lot to choose from and was delicious. Some nights there was some level of noise coming from bars near the hotel (our room was at the front). However it didnt bother me that much but if you are a light sleeper this could bother you. I cant praise the staff enough and they arranged all our pick ups from and to the airport, our tours. They are very friendly with perfect english and to think i was worried about people not speaking english. DONT WORRY! they all speak it fluently.
The room is nice, nothing special but clean and spacious and thats all we needed as most of the time we were out exploring. The price was also very reasonable

I would definetely reccomend here and stay again due to location and quality of customer service.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the back to avoid being woken by late night drinkers if your a light sleeper!

Stayed at the hotel classic march 22nd till 25th found this hotel to be a real gem, the staff were friendly and really helpful from those on reception and in the dining room .The room we had was situated to the back of the hotel so was really quite and the room itself was large and clean .With an early flight from manchester we arrived at the hotel at 10.30 am we were able to store our luggage in a secure room and start our break without carrying our luggage everywhere .
The hotel is in a fantastic location a five min stroll to the main square and loads of bars and rest aurants on the way .Some reviewers of the hotel have mentioned a lack of replenishing food at breakfast time that wasn't our experience, the breakfast had a decent choice cereals cheeses meats etc with hot bacon and scrambled eggs . overall we found this hotel to be a lot better than we expected and a hotel we would go back to if we went back to krakow

We arrived at the hotel, and upon check in, the reception explained to us that breakfast will be provided at a restaurant in the Town Square about 5 minute walk. At first this seemed fine, until arriving at our room to discover no tea/coffee facilities, only the coffee machine in the lobby, for which we were charged 7PLN per cup. The restaurant didn't start serving until 8 o clock, which meant unless you wanted to go down to reception to pay for coffee, something most hotels provide for free, you had to wait.

We walked to the restaurant (luckily not raining) where we ate a nice breakfast. On the third day however, after walking to the restaurant and sitting down, we were informed that he had received an email the day before stating that breakfast is not to be supplied anymore. Due to us having a tour to Zakapane mountains booked, we paid for our breakfast and got a bill.

Once we were back from the tour, I explained this to reception, whereby they stated that breakfast has now started being served in the hotel, and that we should have been informed the day before. We wasn't however. We had not received any notifications to breakfast changes. He refused to re-emburst our 40PLN for breakfast. Not good customer service

Apart from this mistake, the mattresses on the bed's were wafer thing, with the duvet cover and towels having holes. The towels were like sandpaper, assumable so old and having been washed to death. The shower door was broke. On the first day we had no housekeeping, and subsequently run out of toilet roll.

Aside from the faults, it is very close to the Town Square, and free wi-fi in the room meant we were able to watch TV on our iPad.

To sum up, this hotel is not up to the standard it makes out to be from their website. This hotel would be ideal for a stagg party, where being drunk and spending all evening away from it would not cause a problem. For couples looking at a city break, spend your money more wisely.

Room Tip: Rooms as high up as possible. Late night revelers and drunks can be noisy.

Not very clean, breakfast was disgusting, staff(bar one fellow) were unpleasant. No tea/ coffee making facilities except in the lobby where I was surprisingly charged for a fruit tea! Guests were allowed run riot- school tour on same floor and when we complained about the noise and banging on our door, we got an Indifferent reaction. Minimum provisions- half a toilet roll! Had to ask for second pillow! Tv was useless and wifi didn't work in our room. Generally rubbish
