“great location”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

Me and my friend stayed here in july for 7days, the location was excellent 2 minute walk to the market square, planky park is outside the door and the big shopping centre is 5 mins walk friendly hotel always felt safe, one women on reception was lovely cant remember here name ( blonde hair) always asked us how or day went, booked or trips through reception again a great experience, picked up at hotel and dropped right back. rooms were spacious, beds a bit low to the ground, hotel kinda old fashioned but it didnt matter, no safe which i would have liked. breakfast was only ok, we didnt get up for it to much as it was quite crap, even when we went at half not much their, didnt seem to refil and people were greddy taking plates of crossitants back to their rooms when their was none for others. location was the best part, for me! i will defo be back in krakow again and i will defo stay in hotel classic, thanks for a great holiday :)

This hotel is a bit basic but for the money and the location it was brilliant, violet on reception was very good and most helpful, the rooms are ok make sure you don't have a room on the first floor as there is a all night bar and can be very noisy, breakfast was very good there was hot food as well as the usual continental

Older Hotel, you need a key to use the elevator (so if friends want to come upstairs you have to come down and get them) and they are so old that you need an actual key attached to a huge plastic rectangle and then you need to lock your door from the inside. It was so inconvenient! Who doesn't use magnetic keys? Who has room for a key so large and cumbersome. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Oh and the Wifi doesn't work, luckily there was another wifi modem I connected to. Atleast they had air conditioning.

Room Tip: skip this hotel, not sure of the price since the hotel next door moved me here.

Location is fantastic, stayed here the past few times I've been to krakow and will stay here again. For the price you really can't complain...stayed here November 2013 with friends and it was warm, stayed here July 2014 with family and rooms were lovely and cool. The staff are really friendly, the reception open 24 hours. Trips and transportation are bookable through the hotel if you want to. Planning on going back in a few months and know where I'll be staying :)

The beds were small and painful, not even big enough pillows, we wouldn't be so annoyed if it wasn't priced so high, and why euros?! we travelled to lots of places and are open minded but this hotel was charging double what's it's worth, should've stayed in caravan

Stayed here on a school trip to Krakow (Feb 2013). Our room of four single beds and en suite was very simple but clean and functional although I felt that there weren't enough towels provided for us. The Wi-Fi was free but strength was not consistent throughout the hotel. The food was... Debatable. Watery tomato soup to start with gherkins, grey meat and some form of bitty rice for main? Breakfast was better but not a great deal of choice. Also, drinks such as coke were chargeable at an extortionate rate!
From check in we felt as though they expected trouble as they were very strict about noise, hotel rules and we each had to each give a large deposit incase of damages (about £15-20 each). Overall the hotel was ok, nothing special. The food definitely needed some attention and also the staff a little more welcoming but it was clean and practical for what we needed. The location was ideal!

Hotel manager is very strange person - she used my VISA card number before I arrived and decided to cancel my booking!
We arrived very late ( around 23:30) and found us "without reservation". After this "welcome" words she took my printed reservation and say "By the case , I have your room free" and provide us with student room without air condition and hair drier just under the roof instead of my booked 2-rooms Suite, but took the same money !!! We had no chance to change something at the moment and agreed ...
Only next morning I insist to move to mt suite and next 2 night we spent as planned...
Hotel even rejected my request to refund me price difference between the first "student" room and my suite ... It was a very bad start for our trip to Krakov, but Krakov itself we liked very much ..
I would not recommend to book this hotel - just in order to avoid such surprises as we had...

Room Tip: Don't take "student" room under the roof - room 601 ! Suite 406 is good enough, but...
