We always stay at The Globtroter because it's great in every way. Very good value, central yet quiet, clean and comfortable and the staff are always helpful courteous. Can't beat it! I've stayed in many places around Krakow and now always return to The Globtroter. They also provide transport and service for trips such as Auschwitz and Wieliczka (salt mine) at very reasonable cost. Always helpful and completely reliable - brilliant!

Room Tip: All good rooms with own bathrooms

I highly recommend Globtroter Krakow. The location is perfect. It is about two blocks from the main square, but actually sits on a large picturesque square itself. There are plenty of restaurants and ATMs nearby. Most importantly the staff was extremely helpful to us in planning our daily activities. They gave good restaurant recommendations and directions to the buses which lead to the major sights. In summary I enjoyed my stay at Globtroter and I plan to stay there again next time I go to Krakow.

Centrally located, 1 block from the central square but the rooms are in a private courtyard and very quiet. The rooms are large, pristine clean and the bathrooms are large too and have a hairdryer as well. The beds were so comfortable too which was a pleasure after the overnight train from Prague. We arrived at 7 in the morning and while our rooms weren't available, they were able to lock up our luggage so we could still go out and enjoy the day.

All rooms included coffee/tee making supplies as well as fast reliable internet access and if you don't bring your own computer they have one on site for you to use.

They were also able to do a load of laundry for us and money I had accidentally left in my pocket was still there when the clothes were returned.

But more important to us was the amazing staff! Every email was answered promptly, on site they were helpful and their advice was always spot-on from breakfast recommendations to catching the bus.

Krakow was one of the highlights of this trip and when we return, we will 110% definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 days in Krakow. The location is perfect, we were 2 blocks from city center and had several dining/shopping options steps from the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were clean. My elderly parents enjoyed sitting on the balcony at nights and just resting from all the walking. I put this in my review because my mom has stated several times how much she enjoyed sitting on the balcony and just reading her nook and resting. Above all, the staff were amazing. P.S. Parking is off site, the staff will give you a map but driving into old town on the weekend is challenging.

Stayed at the Globtroter for two nights and it was a great experience. The room was clean and very quaint. Our room was on the groundfloor with a view of the courtyard. We arrived early from a night train and they were very nice in allowing us to check into our room at 8 AM. The location is very centralized and is about two blocks or so to the main square. Great deal for the location.

Great hotel - really friendly staff - ideal location - even for rich people who book 5*
English Football Team should have stayed here instead!!
Although do not do breakfast - restuarant opposite in the small Square is great and good value.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was like a home away from home, so comfortable! It is located just a couple of minutes from the main square in the old town and is set back from the street in a private courtyard so while being very close to everything and in the heart of the action it is very quiet and secure. There is a restaurant next door which closes at 8pm so no noise issues there, nor could we hear the nightclub which is near the entrance to the hotel. The room we had was extremely spacious and kind of divided into two separate rooms without a dividing door. All three beds were singles. Great shower with lots of hot water, WIFI works perfectly and they offer extras such as paid laundry service (cheap), airport transfers and snacks/ drinks available for purchase. They also booked all our tours for us. Staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. Would highly recommend this place. It's a little bit dated but it's clean, quiet, central and excellent value.
