“Small but interesting”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

We stopped here after a walking tour . It doesn't take long to walk around. The place is a replica which is a shame . But the history behind the place is something anyone visiting krakow should know, then they should tell there friends what these brave people who stayed and worked here during the Second World War is never forgotten

“Brilliant, just brilliant”

This small museum is easily missed but so, so worth a visit. We stumbled across what would have been Tadeusz Pankiewicz's Pharmacy Under the Eagle while visiting the ghetto and Heroes Square and reading about it in the guide book. Its only three rooms, but we spent nearly two hours there. It is one of the best museums I have been to and really gives you a sense of what it would have been like to be a Jew living under Nazi rule in Poland during WWII. Its very interactive, you open drawers, rifle through photo albums, pick up the phone and listen and open cupboards. I can't recommend this museum highly enough. It was a highlight of our trip. It was a fitting tribute to a man and the people he risked his own life to help.

“A Must Visit!”

We just happened on the Pharmacy Museum - it is wonderful and interactive. We spent a few hours here - if you don't have time for both Schindler's Factory and the Pharmacy Museum, I would choose the latter!

“Dissapointing”

The whole of the building had been refurbished due to it being emptied in the 70s. It is a very good replica, however, the history of the building has been lost

“Worth a quick visit if you're passing”

There are only so many Pharmacy jars you can look at before it becomes boring BUT if that is your interest then it's a great place to spend an hour or two.
