This is all a 5* hotel should be. Beds to die for, breakfast fare a real treat- bucks fizz on the menu, standards excellent and very helpful staff. Pretty central to where you need to be in Krakow.
Would stay there again. Hotel meal prices similiar to home so cheaper to eat out.

Room Tip: Rooms with a river view are nicest. Our room overlooked the car park but for a short stay we were o...

I would highly recommend this hotel. From the moment they gave access to the Club Lounge when our room was not ready (it was 10.30am) to the moment the car took us to the airport our stay was fantastic. Great staff and a great location with fantastic views of the Castle. We never used the Spa facilities but they looked to be the same high standard as everything else we encountered.

Room Tip: Book the Club Lounge. Well worth the extra cost.

On a recent 6 country eastern european trip I had the wonderful experience of spending 4 days in Poland. One stop was in Krakow for two days and obviously we stayed here at The Sheraton. This hotel in this chain was on par with other Sheratons worldwide I have stayed. The location,at least for us, was nice.Get a room facing the main entrance to hotel as the view of the city is quite nice. Also,if you need anything, there are nice little market stores just around the corner with prices quite reasonable in the Polish currency Zloty,so do not buy any thing from the hotel unless its an emergency. If you ride and collect shirts and pins/patches from your trips as I do,there is a Harley-Davidson about 8 miles from the Sheraton.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the main entrance for a great view of Krakow architecture and the city!

Not a bad hotel but again nothing startling.
As with an earlier reviewer we did notice an odd smell in the reception area from time to time.
The staff are all pleasant if somewhat inexperienced, possibly why it has a premier inn feel about the place.
The rooms are fine without being outstanding and view over the river is nice. Oh yes enormous bed.
The location is not bad, only a 10 minute walk into the old square and literally minutes to the castle.
Top Tip: when you walk to the old square do not turn right as the staff will tell you but turn left and follow the road up past the castle. It is a much prettier route.
I probably would stay here again, it is not a bad hotel just nothing that makes it stand out.

This hotel is not luxurious however the amenities and convenience of the location make up for average rooms...and because of that, I would stay here again.

pros: all the sightseeing tours pick up and drop off at this hotel (including Aushwitz, salt mine and city tours) so you just have to show up to the lobby 5 minutes before departure. This was the biggest benefit for us. There is an American style sports pub with satellite sports television and a big pub menu. The lobby also has a high rated restaurant although we only had lunch (it was good) and lobby bar. There are free Internet stations in the lobby and take away coffee available. Staff very helpful and friendly, we bought all of our sightseeing tours from front desk.

Cons: the lobby had an odd smell during our stay; rooms are not bad, just ordinary; there's a fee for Internet which is a bummer. The walk to old town is doable, but was tough for us because the weather was unbelievably cold.

I would definitely stay here again if visiting Krakow.

Room Tip: Book your tours when you get to the hotel vs in advance - the hotel makes it easy.

Staed at this hotel for a few days with friends. Very classy and loved the Vodka bar:). Was worth the upgrade. Good food and drinks. This hotel is centrally located and able to walk to nearly everything.
