We choose the Sheraton Krakow due the review at TripAdvisor and we are very happy. When we arrived we talked in the reception about some problems we had at the Sheraton Warsow and they proposed us a Club Room with a small difference in price but better and with free internet, breakfast included, Club area open with small sandwichs, drinks, cakes etc.
Was a good suggestion and much better than choose the cheapest in the internet. The hotel is beautifull, well located at the Wistula shore and we can walk to the city center. We tried the restaurant, was 4pm ,and we were very lucky and my wife says had been the best meal in Poland. The breakfast very good as we were expecting also the services we asked at the reception were solved very efficiently. Conclusion is a Sheraton that lead us to choose a Sheraton again in spite the high prices.

I must say that the first time I stay at the hotel, was very fine. Everything was ok, with exception of some details. But the dream ends very quickly. On the second time, the same reservation trough the internet, I find out on the check-in, that the breakfast wasn’t included one that rate “book now and save 30%”, no room with the river view and nothing was said about some noisy concerts in front of the hotel that didn’t allows to sleep till 1 o’clock in the night. I claim about the breakfast and about this unfair publicity and the hotel manager didn’t came for an explanation. Then the breakfast price, was different from some days to anothers: some day I paid 50 PLN and another days 85 PLN or 82 PLN. I didn’t understand nothing about the rate policy of the hotel! Also, regarding the parking place, they charge you 75 PLN, but don’t guarantee a place on the underground parking. If its full the park underground and you already paid, you must park outside. Also the room service have some problems. The towels aren’t often so clean. We found some stains in the towels and we don’t know if some of skin problem that appear to us is from the towels of the hotel. Also the personal, was running to clients to sign the bills, like hunting. Very unprofessional I must say. Also, they don’t have any channel for children’s or video on demand.
Well, I don’t recommend this hotel. Is quite expensive for the location, the personal is sometimes impolite, have this unfair publicity with hidden costs and isn’t appropriated for families!
There is for sure better option for stay in Krakow.

The Sheraton in Krakow is truly a luxury hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly, and our room was clean and attractive. I really loved the fact that the bathrooms had HUGE bath sheets, instead of the tiny towels provided other places. The hotel graciously arranged anything that we needed.(If you need a driver, ask for Adam, he was excellent!)
We did not pay for breakfast to be included in our package, but the club level entitled us to breakfast, and a light meal in the afternoon. The lounge also offered beer, wine and other beverages all day. This is where I need to give my one and only complaint. The smoking in the public areas of the hotel was almost overwhelming at times. This included the lounge area. I would really like to see smoking areas more limited in this hotel. Thank goodness for smoke free rooms!

Chose this hotel because it gave best value for money. Great location next to the castle by the river. About a 7 mins walk to the old town centre. The staff were delightful and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The Room was a great size with everything you would expect from a Sheraton, comfortable king size beds you could buy it if you sleept well. Dressing gowns big soft bath towels usual bits in bathroom tea and coffee making stuff etc. Best breakfast I have ever had in a Hotel and lovely surroundings. The Dining room was pricy for Poland. The bar was great not too expensive have the hot chocolate and champagne cocktail - worthwhile. The gym facilities were good for a hotel although the pool was a bit small. We asked the Hotel car to collect us from the Airport 80zl or approx £16 or you could get the Train into Krakow and then No 2 tram. Girls not worth a Shop-'till-you-drop experience - still cathcing up fashion wise and clothes are expensive unlike food. We had some great meals in lovely Restaurants very reasonable. Hotel car will take you on trips at a cost or use Tourist Information. Would deffinetly go stay again. Great break.

I was a little bit anxious before I came to this hotel, having read the reviews on Tripadvisor. Sorry for the other reviews, my stay in this hotel was PERFECT and delightful!
Very helpful staff at check-in, very helpful concierge with plenty of maps and tips for Krakow and around.
I also tried their american bar. Quite expensive for Poland, but delicious food and fantastic service!
The room was perfect, big bed, big bathroom. Modern and lots of space. Nice Touchscreen phone, with a big display you can navigate on, and get information, from weather to sites to visit!
Breakfast was also great!
I would definitely recommend this hotel!
I had a room without a view, as the window of my room was on the inner court, right over the restaurant. It was nevertheless quiet.
If you go to Wieliczka Salt Mine, just take bus number 304 at stop "Philarmonia", two streets behind the hotel, in front of SAS-Radisson Hotel, on Straszewskiego street.
If you want to go to Aushwitz, you ca take the bus to Oswiecim on the corner of the hotel, although it might be easier to take it from the bus terminal at the train station...

Four of us have just spent 3 nights at the Sheraton and the staff were very helpful. We arrived at midday, had lunch in the square and were on the tour to the Salt Mine by 3pm; the weather was heavy rain. We found that it was really easy to organise tours and to walk into town. The bike tour being one of them but don't really think it was a good as previous reviewers had indicated.
Managed to use the pool which was lovely with gowns and slippers provided in lockers. The staff in the bar were fantastic and helped us choose from the very extensive vodka list; it all adds to the experience!! We have all come home exhausted, happy and impressed with Krakow's old world charm and the friendliness of the people.

An excellent hotel, very well situated for walking in the Old City and visiting Wawel castle. Adjacent to the river and therefore we were able to stroll along the embankment at any time.
There was a nearby supermarket for any extra items needed and the hotel was one of the stops for Crakow Tours, making timing easy for visits to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines. Both these tours are terrific and should not be missed.

The bed was extremely comfortable and we have not slept better on holiday.
The TV had BBC,CNN and ESPN as well as the usual continental offerings. The bathroom was a good size but could do with some ventilation as it became steamy and hot after showering . Plenty of mirrors and good hair dryer. The room was on the large size, with plenty of seating and space to store clothes and bags.
The central atrium was very nice, despite other comments elsewhere, and afternoon coffee was taken here in a comfortable area as well as breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with hot and cold dishes and very good service from the staff with a high ratio of staff to guests. The lattes are wonderful, by the way.
The blurb said that Real Madrid stayed here for a European Cup tie, so if it is good enough for the Galacticos then it should be good enough for you!

As this is Poland there is not a no smoking policy in the hotel with a separate area for the smokers but it is a case of 'when in Rome......' Being a non smoker it is easy to forget how things used to be but the Poles are potential Wolrd Champion smokers and it appears that the whole city is geared up to this. The room itself was smoke free and clean as was the atrium and lobby and overall did not become a problem.

The staff at the desk were helpful and polite and gave good advice on where to eat at night and travel to the airport was arranged efficiently, as was a trip to the castle.

In order to see the Icehockey World Championship Final we ate in the Sports Bar and the staff enabled us to see the required channel. The food there was very good and the staff attentive. I note one or two odd negative comments about the girls in mini skirts serving food and drink but I'm afraid in my universe this is regarded as a plus! Despite these slightly prudish comments they are decently attired and very efficient as well as being easy on the eye.

All in all, a terrific stay and Krakow itself is a lovely city and worth a trip. We were totally happy with the hotel and it was one of the best stays ever.
