Stayed here in August and had a great stay - stayed 2 separate nights with a stay in Auschwitz in the middle night so visited 2 different rooms (1 standard, 1 club). The rooms were almost identical with the exception of the view and a few extra amenities, but the access to the club lounge really does add a lot of value to the club rooms where we found unlimited free snacks and drinks from morning to night. I haven't stayed anywhere else in Krakow, but if I return it will definitely be to this hotel. Free internet in the rooms would be a nice addition, but at least it's free downstairs in the bars and in the club lounge. I visited the sports bar and vodka bar here and they both offered very good service.

Visited Krakow in early August to attend a friends wedding. Decided to spoil ourselves and book into the Sheraton. Was greeted by some of the most friendly staff. Receptionist was very quick and efficient. The level of customer service offered made most high end hotels in Dublin,Ireland look like cheap hostels. Room was very clean and well laid out. we booked the deluxe room(well worth the extra few euro). Every staff member was a joy to talk too. I would highly recommend this hotel. My partner and I are going back in February and booking into the Sheraton without any doubt.

The Sheraton hotel in Krakow is truly 5-star. The location is perfect near the river and castle, and just 10 minutes walk to the main square. The rooms are 5-star with all the features you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. We were put in a smoking room for our first night which we didn't like but for the remaining nights the staff gave us a non-smoking room and moved our luggage for us while we were out, which was a nice touch. Free internet facilities are downstairs though the inroom wifi is not free. Overall, if you can afford this hotel (we couldn't normally but someone kindly paid for us!), it's perfect.

We were attendingt the Coke Live Festival and had booked a classic room. The Sheraton did not meet our expectations for numerous reasons.
1) Classic rooms turned out to face an internal enclosed Atrium with limited sunlight and no air (windows were locked closed). These are awful rooms and should not be sold / nor should they exist in a 5 star hotel. They are typical of a 2 star motorway hotel. They simply have no place existing in a Sheraton.
2) For PLN 50 extra a day we upgraded to a room with a window that opens to the air but the entire check in process took over half an hour in front of the receptionist which is far too slow for a 5 star hotel - again more like a 2 star in terms of service efficiency.
3) The room we were given had cobwebs on the ceiling, spots on the ceiling, a broken toilet paper roll, no bathrobes (as advertised).
4) The spa gave out hand towels for going to the pool - tiny towels that did not get you dry. When asked for bigger towels they claimed not to have any at that time (again really poor efficiency). There were no towel bins in the changing rooms so one had to throw the towels on the floor - ugly and messy.
5) many other small indicators that this hotel is mis-managed and not achieving what one would expect of a 5 star Sheraton.

May I suggest to visitors to Krakow to look for accomodation elsehere as the value for money at this hotel is not in line with its 2/3 star deleivery of service.

We would like to advise Tripadvisor readers that the hotel does have some rooms, which overlook the hotel’s Atrium – which is a hotel’s attraction. We have found that several of our guests specifically reserve these rooms, as from the architecture, the huge Atrium with the 1.200m2 glass roof, resembles Krakow’s market square and provides a special ambience. However for safety and security reasons windows are unable to be opened, but please be advised that all guest rooms provide individually controlled air-condition/heating that also includes fresh air intake.

We are proud of the usual high level of services we provide as evidenced by the majority of comments on this website and sincerely regret any guest experience that does not meet expectations.

Modern hotel with rooms offereing a splendid view of the river. Nice lobby with lounge taht inspires a relaxing atmosphere. the hotel is very conveniently located at walking distance from the city center. It is also very quiet so perfect for a nice sleep ! Breakfast buffet is excellent with a large choice. Rooms are modern and large, nice and large bathrooms and all of that at an exceptable price given what is offered ! We would certainly return there for a next stay in Krakow !

The Sheraton in Krakow is a fantastic hotel, I really couldn't fault it at all. The room was big and very clean with all the amenities you could possibly need. The bed was amazing...huge and very comfortable! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even when my partner got lost trying to find the ice machine and ended up in the kitchens!! Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and of a high standard. The bar was also very good, nice food and friendly staff plus everything was reasonablly priced. The Sheraton is in a prime location and we had amazing views of the river from our room and within walking distance of the Castle and the Old Town. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at the Sheraton and would highly recommend it.

Our stay at Sheraton Krakow was very nice. It is a very nice hotel, and location is pretty good. We can walk to the main square and tto he old town. Besides, all the tours depart from the door of the hotel. Which was very good! Breakfast was excellent.
Taking the tour to Auschwitz was the highlight of our trip. Sad, but so necessary to go and see it....Even having watching the movies about it, studying the history etc, , didnt me prepare enough for the impact I had there. As I said, it was sad, but each second I spent there, it was worth!
Very close to the Sheraton there is a 4 star hotel called Kossak. The restaurant Oranzeria in the top of that hotel, offers a beautiful view of the castle and the city, and served the best food we ate in town! I really recommend it!
