This hostel was clean, had fairly good facilities and a great location near the station and centre of Krakow and a nice common room but was not very friendly. Hardly any of the guests seemed to leave their rooms which isn't great if you're travelling alone. Some of the staff spoke next to no English so were not very helpful in any situation and the others only spoke a little more English and were not forthcoming with information. One of the guests got stuck in the tiny lift while I was there and the staff clearly did not know what to do.
The hostel did not feel particularly secure as the door to the building was often open and the doors to the hostel unlocked, with some of the entrances not visible from the front desk. I felt anyone could have wandered into my room.
