“Good Location, But”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

I was scheduled for a dorm room for 3 nights, but they needed it for another group. Was given a single room for the same price. This was nice of them. The room was clean and nice. You could not ask for a better location. However, the noise from other guest in the hall was very loud. The type of guest while there consisted of a large group of old noisy old women and then families with active noisy children. The breakfast was very good, and included in the cost of the room. However, more seating was needed, and the configuration of the food area could be better. The staff was very nice overall. Could not get on the internet, even when I notified the staff of the problem. Lots of stairs, so be prepared.

Stayed 2 nights. The hostel is located close to both the main railway station and the old town square. Staff are generally helpful.Great breakfast.Only issue with this hostel is that they do not enforce the "quiet time" 10pm-6am stipulated on their notice boards. Rowdy and loud parties were allowed at the lounge area late into 1am at night. Avoid hostel if you are a light sleeper.

I visited the hostel for 1 night, coming from krakow main bus station at around 2am. The location is perfect and I had no problem reaching it. When I made the reservation it was by mail, just one night before, so they didn't even charge me in advance, but instead said they will be waiting for me, which was nice. Also when I arrived the person at the desk told me that I can pay the next morning, and not to worry about checking out time, just sleep. He was very nice! There was a little noise of talking in the lobby late at night, but later it stopped, and the beds were good. The next day I got a towel for shower free of charge and there was even breakfast. Overall: A very pleasent experience at a nice location!

As a location it's in pretty good place i think. Because it's reaaly close to Rynek Glowny (Old town square) and also 5-7min to walk to the Railway station near Galeria Krakowskie. Rooms, mutual bathrooms, toilets, kitchen were clean also. Receptionist also help us for our questions and they were speaking english well. As my opinion for a that location and reasonable prices it's worth it to stay here. It's on 4th floor / No Elevator.

Room Tip: Rooms near kitchen would be better for couples or people looking for some little bit quiet rooms.

Thank you very much ! The one thing that we have to add is that we have an elevator - just ask the reception for a key. We are really sorry for all inconveniences. Hope to see you again. Best regards !

This is a quite new hostel in the 4th floor of an old building. The reception is also on the 4th floor, which is quite a lot of stairs to go with your luggage. The building also hosts some other organisations. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. We had the luck we had the only double bed room there was, but most rooms are group rooms. This is nice for groups of people, but less comfortable for couples. They say there is free wifi. Yes, there is a computer you can use, but it is a very old one, that crashes all the time. There is an elevator you might use when asked to the staff, but it is over 100 years old and quite small, so I would not recommand this place to disabled people. Breakfast was simple, but oke. The personal is friendly, the rooms are clean, but still the waiting for a shower or the get to the toilet is not always fine. We also had trouble finding the place at first and also there is no accommodation to park a car.

Room Tip: Best is to book in advance, since the hostel is often full booked. You might also have to share a ro...

This hostel was clean, had fairly good facilities and a great location near the station and centre of Krakow and a nice common room but was not very friendly. Hardly any of the guests seemed to leave their rooms which isn't great if you're travelling alone. Some of the staff spoke next to no English so were not very helpful in any situation and the others only spoke a little more English and were not forthcoming with information. One of the guests got stuck in the tiny lift while I was there and the staff clearly did not know what to do.
The hostel did not feel particularly secure as the door to the building was often open and the doors to the hostel unlocked, with some of the entrances not visible from the front desk. I felt anyone could have wandered into my room.

Room Tip: Try to get one on the same floor as the reception as this would be more secure
