The Metropolitan is a wonderful boutique hotel in Krakow. All the staff members were incredibly nice and helpful; the rooms were spacious, stylish and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had (and I am not one to get excited about breakfast). The location is very convenient: within walking distance of the city center and Jewish quarter. The only downside that I can say is that it is a little expensive compared to some other similarly described hotels. However, our wonderful stay made up for the extra money spent. It is definitely worth a visit to Krakow and to this hotel.

I hadn't been to Poland since a school trip in the late 80s. Things have changed a lot since then and the quality of the hotels is certainly one of them. The staff at the Metropolitan were great, as was the food, so just as well they've got a nice gym -- not something I needed 20-odd years ago. I particularly liked having all mod-cons but in refurbished building, something with character. This was great value for money.

This is great new addition to Krakow - a lovely city. My third time to the city and what amazing changes since the mid 90's. The Metropolitan is also a much needed classy boutique hotel in this city and I was so pleased to find it.... just recently opened. Very tastefully renovated and refurbished in an old building to a very high standard. The staff were just superb and the location is perfect.... all that you would expect from a great little gem of a boutique hotel. Highly recommended.

I agree with another reviewer who said 'this has the look and feel of a 5 star hotel without the expense.' The rooms are lovely, a good size, clean and with all mod cons. The staff are helpful and the location is fantastic, easy to walk to most things or a tram stop about 100m away if you've got tired legs. The breakfast buffet sets you up for the day. Definitely recommend.

This is a lovely, well appointed hotel, opened in Aug 2013. The road the hotel is in is undergoing renovation and looks a bit dodgy, however, we felt safe at all times in Krakow. This lovely old building has been tastefully renovated to a high standard.
The location is great, about ten mins walk to the old town and very close to the old Jewish Market Place, which is perfect for alfresco dining. The car park is not on site, but only one road away. Little things stopped me rating it 5, and these are perhaps just teething problems, e.g shampoo but no shower gel one day, no spare loo roll, no milk for tea and coffee. I would also have liked a bath a well as shower and iron and ironing board in room...but this is Europe, so not standard. breakfast was of a good quality with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We really felt this hotel was great value for money and look forward to staying again. Krakow has to be one of the nicest and most interesting places I have ever visited.

I have stayed two nights in the Metropolitan Boutique hotel in Krakow. The room was new, big enough and had an air conditioning. The only negative point was that I had two one person beds...instead of one kingsize bed. The breakfast was good, enough different things to pick (if they really want a 10 they should use fresh orange juice, but that is nittpicking). The staff was friendly. The bathroom was not really big, but clean and big towels (another minor remark, they should better use unbreakable glasses instead of plastic, it just makes it more professional). Overall. It is a really nice hotel, near the centre. I would come back again.

A fantastic hotel in an excellent location for exploring Krakow on foot. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and luxurious. Breakfast was presented well with a large choice for all tastes. All the staff were exceedingly polite and helpful. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.
