My wife and I have just returned from a short break in Krakow. We stayed at the Metropolitan Boutique Hotel which in situated in the jewish quarter if the city. I don't believe that we could have picked a better hotel. We stayed here on a bed & breakfast deal at exceptionally cheap rate for 3 nights. The room was luxuriously spacious and overlooked the street (duluxe double). Decor was superb. Breakfast was outstanding, champagne was even on offer within the room rate price. Location was perfect for evening meals out in some of Krakow's best restaurants. Again, excellent meals out at very affordable prices - you would be very hard pushed to spend £40 to £50 per couple. Location was also perfect for easy walking to many historic sites including the jewish ghetto and Oscar Schindler's factory etc. We had a superb evening meal one night at the hotel, probably one of the best meals during our stay in Poland.

Room Tip: If budget allows, book a duluxe double at approximately £75 per night. Outstanding value.

We were impressed with all the hotel facilities The room,The food,The staff all were excellent. This hotel deserves top rating now we know why it is top of the Trip-advisor list for Krakow. We booked trips to Auschwitz and The Salt Mines at reception and were picked up promptly by Discover Krakow mini-coaches which also were excellent the guide at Auschwitz give us a very informative and sensitive tour of the concentration camp which is a must do for anybody visiting Krakow,Lunch at this hotel is also excellent.I hope the price does not increase for this hotel as it is the best hotel we have stayed in.We have recommended it to any of our friends we have spoken to as it is also in an excellent location for discovering the city .A great weekend break we will return again to this hotel.

Room Tip: Check Tripadvisor before booking

Just returned from 3 night stay at this hotel. We had chosen it from the reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed. Rooms were of a good quality, staff were always very helpful and sorted any queries we had from booking trips to restaurants. We also ate in the hotel restaurant FAB Fusion which was also excellent. Only one complaint made by my husband was that he was kept awake by the noise in the next room until 1 in the morning but after telephoning reception it was dealt with straightaway. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

We stayed for three nights in this well located hotel, just 10 minutes walk from the main square.
The rooms are well appointed (stayed in a standard superior double). The buffet breakfast offers a wide choice of both hot and cold food and although we didn't eat there the restaurant menu looked to offer a good choice.
Well priced, we paid 240 Euros for 3 nights.

Just back from staying in this hotel for 3 nights and we could not have asked for more. The rooms were spacious, beds very comfy, staff very friendly, the food in the fusion restaurant was excellent, drink prices very reasonably and cheaper than in the main square and finally the hotel itself was modern and had a great feel to it. Yes it may be a 10 min walk from the main square but it was nice to have a walk in the mornings and be of equal distance to the main square, the Jewish area and the castle. We felt it was worth the walk and certainly would return. Breakfast choice was excellent continental -bread, cheese, ham, yogurts, cereal or bacon and eggs. If you stay and eat in the restaurant you receive 15% off the food bill. There is a gym in the hotel but we did not use it. Standard rate for taxis from airport is 90 zlotys and it's a 20 min drive. Krakow itself has a lot to offer and worth adventuring, great shops, pubs and culture. We really enjoyed our stay with no hassle.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay. The hotel is beautiful. Very modern and clean throughout. Our room was large and a comfy bed. The breakfast buffet was lovely and had something for everyone. The staff were helpful but not intrusive...perfect balance. Finally location....we walked everywhere from the hotel. It is no more than 10 minutes walk from all the main places. I would def recommend.

We stayed here for 4 days and this is one of the nicest hotels we ever stayed. It's close to the main square and a short walk to kazimierz, Old town, Jewish quater, schindler's museum etc. Very easy to walk and cheap taxi rides if you wish. Perfect location. Please don't be put off by the outdated Google maps view of this hotel cause in real its very very nice since and opened recently so no need to panic. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely with all sorts of treats alongside the usual once. Food was fresh and service was top notch. The hotels restaurant fab fusion is truly Michelin style with delicious food and top service cause we ate here 3 times which is not something we usually do. We stayed with our little son and staff were helpful arranging him a cot and bath facilities and promptly taking care of his nappies and stuff. Thank you very much this meant a lot to us. We would not think twice about booking here again. Amazing stay. Can't recommend this hotel enough. My only small suggestion would be to fix the wifi connection drop off issue cause it constantly slows down. But Its not much of a big deal cause it only affects a video streaming.

Room Tip: We stayed at room 103. It was facing the train station however unlike what others said we never hear...
