“Good but not great!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 March 2007

Stayed for 3 nights. Room clean but basic, however it did have a good size bathroom with plenty of hot water and a very good shower. The bed was comfortable but not the kingsize we had booked. TV impossible to watch, reception terrible.
Breakfast very nice with fresh bread rolls, cheese, ham etc and an excellent selection of teas.
Hania, a very pleasant young lady, was extremely helpful. She arranged our pick-up from the airport, a trip to the salt mine and advised us where to eat. Some excellent food at very reasonable prices.
The B&B is situated about a 10 minute walk from the main square and 20 minutes from the very impressive castle.
On the downside, the room is not serviced - the bed is left unmade, the towels are not changed and the bathroom not cleaned.
All in all, a pleasant stay - but 2 or 3 days enough for us.

  • Liked — Hania's hospitality
  • Disliked — Not getting kingsize bed

As good as it gets! Perfect location 5 minutes from the largest central park in Europe. Krakow is our new favorite city in Europe. Hania is in every way the best hostess! She can arrange literally everything for you, including transportation from the airport at midnight and small Mercedes van to and from Auschvitz - even a massage just across the street! One flight of stairs up to the pension, but worth it. A great little place with THE BEST SHOWERS IN CENTRAL EUROPE! Would recommend Accession to anyone, except the disabled. Don't hesitate at all to book your stay.

  • Liked — Hania, transportation, location, cleanliness, SHOWER
  • Disliked — stairs (no big deal, though)
  • Tips/Secrets — email Hania for arrangements,

We had a very good stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were very good, and the room was clean and bright. The kitchen was freely available for the use of guests. The location was convenient for walking into the city. The initial impression walking up the stairs was daunting but the contrast when entering the B&B was remarkable. Overall I would rate this accommodation very highly for a stay of a few days.

  • Liked — it was modern and clean
  • Disliked — outside hall

What a great little place to stay - hidden away close to the centre square the Accession was a lovely base for our sight seeing and exploring of Krakow. The stay was made all the better by the lovely Hania who was a great host who was more than happy to give advice and guidance on where to go and where to eat.
The other nice thing about the Accession was that because it was small and homley you quickly got talking to the other guests and could share their experiences. Would definatley reccomend.

This is such a charming B&B. Hania does a great job of keeping things simple and cozy. It's in a charming and convenient part of town. Hania's totally cool and knows all the best restaurants and cafes.

Thanks to Trip Advisor's many correspondents, we chose Accession B & B for our first trip to Poland. After a rather old and shabby entrance to the building (of which we grew quite fond!) we found ourselves in a cosy, modern, clean, comfortable, relaxed establishment - only 4 rooms, superb bathrooms - beautifully run by the delightful, efficient and helpful Hania. It really couldn't have been better - an easy 10 minute stroll from Krakow's amazing main square, and Hania's arrangements for having one picked up at the airport etc were brilliant. The whole trip was a huge success but a word of warning: if you live in the UK, unless you go completely out of season, take a train from Warsaw or Berlin, or anywhere - the airport cannot cope with the exit traffic (arrival was fine) and the homeward experience was a nightmare.

  • Liked — Location, simplicity, power shower and comfort
  • Disliked — clothes hanging space could be better done

Really great location - central but on a quiet street. Breakfast was excellent and Hania is a great host. Fantastic value compared with anything else around. Appreciated it even more once we left and had to check into the Alexander Hotel round the corner. Would recommend to any friends/colleagues who end up going there.
