A somewhat mixed experience. The room (5b) was nothing more than a bed and bathroom. Recently decorated; you could still smell the paint. At night, a lot of noise from the crowd in the street. Room service a bit negligent. Used teacups were not cleared and so on.

Upside: Location 50 mtrs from Market Square. Friendly staff. Ok breakfast buffet. Low price. Whisky bar in the basement.

What a great little place. The location couldn't be better, less than a block from the main square and a stone's throw from the tram stop and taxi stations. It was close to any number of restaurants and there were also bakeries around the corner and a small market near the tram.

We booked a deluxe double on the courtyard and were so pleased with it. It was large and sunny and the bathroom was gigantic and spotlessly clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was good, with the exception of the pastries. There were a number of cheeses, meat, tomatoes and cucumbers, as well as scrambled or fried eggs and bottomless drip coffee. The cold table included cereals and yogurt, bread and jams. It wasn't out of the ordinary, but the atmosphere was very pleasant and it was a good way to start the day.

The hotel is so close to everything that it was easy to pop in for a short rest and then out again for more sight-seeing. The tram was a minute walk away and very easy to use. The ticket machine was out of order, so we bought tickets at the tobacco shop right across the street from the tram stop. If you're not in the mood for walking, Wawel Castle and the Jewish Quarter are only a couple of tram stops away.

Hotels in a major tourist area can often feel a little grim, but our room was sunny and pleasant and a nice place to spend some time. We would definitely stay here again. It was good value for the price and so convenient to everything.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room at the back. Also, if you like a little more space, it's worth the small price to upgrade to a deluxe double.

An excellent little hotel which is very handy for the main square for restaurants and bars. A lovely whiskey bar in the cellar. We booked the apartment room 24 which had a massive balcony overlooking the rooftops. All in all couldn't fault it and a great little three day stay. Reception staff very obliging. Go ahead and book this!

The only thing we were looking for when staying in Krakow was a good bed, shower and location close to attractions, and this hotel seams perfect. it has the location but if you staying in room just of the reception desk you will not get any sleep pass 6 am.Room does not have window, it has sky light almost size of the bed, So if the day was sunny we were up at sunrise and if was raining the noise rain make hitting the plastic would wake us up. Since this room is just of the lobby you also hear staff walking, bringing bottled water and on couple morning there were some workers fixing tiles on the lobby and they begin at 7am. I did complain to the front desk employee but he simply said that they doing some construction work. I have no complains about size of the room, or the size of the shower, we just want place to sleep after busy day out.Oh and we book our stay online at fair price about 65- 70 dollars but because we arrive at 5 am and the check in was in after noon we were charge extra ( we expect that ), and what they charge was about 160 dollars. When I ask why is so much I was told that this is walk in rate for this hotel so this is a rate we have to pay since we arrive at 5 am.
Our room was clean, cleaning lady did good job, shower work perfectly, and I'm sure if we stay in other room we would enjoy our stay. Perfect location. We loved Krakow.

Room Tip: Im sure if you stay away from room 1 you will be OK
