“Interesting layout and lovely window!”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

Most only heard about Pope John Paul II's window next door, but the window about the entrance to this church is fantastically powerful! The church has more than 3 smaller churches inside and each with its own decor and purpose. interesting to contemplate.

What an amazingly beautifully decorated church. The walls and ceilings throughout are the most colourful I have ever seen. Painted in rich colours and patterns. Absolutely stunning and fully recommended.

“Dark and Dim and Awesome”
Reviewed 9 April 2014

At first glance this is a typical Kracow church. It's big, It's dark and it's dim. A distant high altar with big candlesticks and gold everywhere.... Why would any young person want to worship God here? How could any seeker find God here?
And then you turn around and look above the door that you came in through and your jaw drops through the floor. A stunning piece of Modern Ecclesial Art that screams out GOD GOD GOD GOD! the photos that I've taken don't/can't do it justice but the artist, philosopher, writer Stanislaw Wyspianski produced the most stunning stained glass windows for this church which borders planty Park and is very near to the Radisson Blu Hotel and all the other main Kracow sights. If you go nowhere else in Kracow - go here.

“Amazing murals & glass windows”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

The church itself looks somewhat unassuming from the outside, but inside it's an explosion of colour and floral/nature patterns by the artist Stanisław Wyspiański. Kind of like a folksy Art Nouveau trip. I had no idea what to expect when we stumbled upon this church, which made the effect even greater. Unfortunately they seem to hate lamps here, so it's pretty dark. Choose a sunny day for a visit. Postcards of the murals can be bought at the museum shop at the former Wyspianski Museum, now called Kamienica Szolayskich, which is well worth a visit too.

“Amazing windows”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

The stained glass windows are worth a visit alone, it was a sunny day and with the light coming through, they looked incredible. I loved the irises and lilies to the sides of the main altar window. The rest of the church interior is fairly dark but you can still make out the fabulous painted decor. It only opens for an hour on the second Sunday of the month though!
