Stayed here for a weekend in March 2014

Is centrally located approximately 15 minutes walk from the bus station and a 5 minute walk from the main square in the old town.

Had a room on the 4th floor, was a decent twin sized room with tea and coffee in the room and a lovely tiled bathroom with a decent hot powerful shower.

Breakfast was a basic European breakfast. Warm scrambled egg and sausage along with a selection of bread, meat, cereal and fruit.

We booked our Aucswitz trip through the hotel.

Compared to getting the bus independently and entry it cost an extra £15 per person or 130 zsolty per person. For this you got a return pick up from the hotel. A minibus with 10 other people and a guide around both Aucswitz sites (if you go independent you only get a guide round Aucswitz 1) well worth the extra £15!

I had an amazing time and highly recommend this hotel.

Just returned yesterday after staying at the Wielopole Hotel for 4 nights. Three "mature" ladies celebrating my friends 60th Birthday.
This hotel is in a fantastic location, minutes from the Old Town Square, within walking distance of almost everything. We stayed in a triple room on the 6th Floor, although small (having the extra bed) it was spotlessly clean, the shower was excellent with piping hot water, Tea & Coffee making facilities.
To repeat previous reviews, it is the excellent staff that makes this hotel as good as it is. Very very pleasant and helpful. We booked our tours to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines at reception, we were picked up and returned to the hotel at a cost of around £27 each trip. The staff made us a lovely packed lunch (£4) to take with us.
The breakfast was lovely, something for everyone. Cereals, yogurts, rolls , toast, scrambled egg, sausages, potato pancakes, cold hams & cheese, fresh fruit and more.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, the only small drawback is , it didnt have a bar. But the Holiday Inn is directly opposite and we went there after dinner for a drink.
Krakow is a lovely city, very safe, and the Wielopole is a must !

stayed here a couple of years ago and had no hesitation in rebooking for my latest trip to krakow this week, Was pleased to see the hotel had maintained its excellent standards. It is located few minutes walk from the main square and the reception staff are very friendly and willing to help. Rooms are well maintained. A good breakfast as well. Will rebook for my next trip

Everything about this hotel was charming and relaxing, from the friendly English speaking staff to the restaurant / bar to the warm and cosy bedroom. If this was a 3 star I'd love to experience a 5 star Polish hotel. It certainly was great value for money and showed our over priced Scottish hotels up for what they really are!! We will definitely return in the near future.

Loved this hotel, had a single room, it was fairly small but very comfortable and absolutely spotless, one of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in!! The shower in the room was great, good size and again couldn't have been cleaner!!

The staff at reception at all times were very pleasant, helpful and very friendly. They made any arrangements needed and were able to help with any info we needed.

The restaurant is a vegan place so didn't suit my needs but it was clean and friendly like the rest of the place.

The location is a 5 minute walk into the main market square and 10 minutes from the Wawel Castle and Cathedral. The only time we needed public transport was on our trip to Auschwitz which the hotel staff arranged for us hassel free.

I would 100% stay here again and recommend anyone else to as well.
