like the sunken city this place is an absolute treasure! for backpackers willing to forgo frills, this place offers everything essential like lockers and wifi in rooms. The super friendly reception also provides top recommendations if you're willing to try out local fare. To top that off, the staff are young and attractive and gives the hostel a very energetic vibe! love the rat keyholders! Krakow is very beautiful and like atlantis, most of the charm lies behind its old, sleazy facades. Dont be fooled by the exteriors!

Great location. V helpful staff, always willing to answer questions and organise trips for us. V cheap. A pity that the rooms have to be mixed. Female/ male only would be much better. Would stay here again tho.

Everything was good; cheap, excellent location between the Jewish Quartier and the Main Square, clean bathrooms, cheap phone calls and one of the best hostel staffs ever :)..It was very cozy, I just felt good vibrations at this hostel and sometimes that is most important than anything else...Eventhough it doesn't have a kitchen (but I think it's being built), it's a top hostel...

Room Tip: Reserve and have a long say to have better price..

The hostel has two floors. I like the 3rd floor: Most of the rooms are bright and colorful. The walls of the private rooms have some very interesting beautiful drawings/paintings. The entire floor (except the bathrooms) is carpeted which means you can walk around or sit anywhere comfortably. The furniture on the 3rd floor are new, modern and again with beautiful colors and designs.

They keep the hostel clean as they clean it twice a day. The showers are very good.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you have a question, ask! You may become pleasantly surprised by the answer/service.

If you are bothered by the street noise, ask the staff for the garden side. Then, you will see a big garden (which, I think, belongs to a church) through the windows. If you want to see all the actions on the street and not bothered by the traffic then ask for the street side.

Room Tip: Green private room on the 3rd floor- Garden side

Hostel Atlantis is a fantastic place to stay in when in Krakow. There are efficent and knowledgable staff, who are always on hand to help to make things easier. The rooms are always clean and maintained well on a regular basis. The beds are comfortable also. The hostel is in a good location also, with only a 10 minute walk to the main square. I very much recommend the Hostel Atlantis!
