Right on the edge of Kazimierz, the Galicia Museum contains a beautiful gallery full of photographs of the Jewish past and present in Galicia - from places like Auschwitz to small Polish towns with ancient synagogues. The photos depict the ruins of Jewish life and are sometimes very sad while still being beautiful.
The Museum has one of the best bookshops in Krakow for Jewish and holocaust-related books, as well as a nice coffeeshop, so you can drink and peruse.
It's a great place to take a break from all the touring. Highly recommended.
