A very modern and comfortable hotel with helpful and attentive staff. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was ultramodern and large. Breakfast was included in the tariff and the range of foods available was generally more than sufficient.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Galeria Krakowska indoor shooping centre which connects directly to the main railway station. It is also walking distance (short walk) to the fascinating Market Square which is the largest medieval town square in Europe.

Krakow is a beautiful city, recently discovered by tourists, yet at this stage unspoiled. Getting around is easy and safe for all ages: we walked around the old square and up to Wawel castle as well as taking local trams (clean, easy to use and cheap).

Our only complaint is with the booking company - Railbookers Australia - who did not provide adequate service (despite an internet site claim they provided "detailed, tailored itineraries") yet charged a premium for the inferior service. The company also wanted full payment in advance and insisted the payment was non-refundable yet the premium charged did not give us any benefit. We took all the risk and they didn't provide anything better than one could get through an internet booking directly with the hotel. The internet booking would be cheaper but with the same risks (non-refundable, full payment in advance). So go, figure!

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the square in front of the old railway station i.e. at the back of the ho...

We stayed for a quick visit in December 2011.
The hotel is well located, next to Galeria Krakowska (main indoor shopping centre) and the main Krakow train station. If you arrive or leave by train (including the Airport Express train) then you cannot get a hotel any nearer to the station. Very convenient indeed. It is also around 5 mins walk to the main old town area, 10 mins to the main market square. This may be too far for some, but no problem to us. It's a nice walk.
The greeting by the reception staff was excellent. Professional, helpful and very friendly. That staff attitude continued throughout our stay.
The room (a standard double) was very cleverly designed with a comfortable bed, a flat screen TV and a nice spacious en-suite with separate shower and bath. All well equipped.
The room showed the early signs of having been well used, but everything was working perfectly well and spotlessly clean.
There were some excellent novelty touches which made the room memorable (and we have stayed in countless hotels), in particular the colourful lighting in the bathroom (which can be switched off, if not to your taste) and the illumination from this through a frosted glass panel to the bedroom. Complements the modern design theme that runs throughout.
We benefited from a quiet room which did not overlook the main road, the road side rooms might be noisier - worth considering.
I also have to give special mention to the breakfast - hot food served to your table and a lovely cold buffet as well. Just what you need.
Definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: I suspect rooms overlooking the road will be noisier.

My daughter and I travelled to Cracow for the first time on New Year's Day and stayed in Andels hotel which is perfectly situated - close to the train station, shopping centre and all the other delights of this very charming city. The city itself is small but easy to get around but the Hotel was always handy for popping in during the day for a short nap or drop of shopping. It is very modern but extremely well run - staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable. The bedrooms are wonderful - especially the bathrooms with underfloor heating etc. The rooms are equipped with safe, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, slippers, flat screen tv etc - all very comfortable and affordable. The breakfast had everything one would have wanted with a chef on hand to make delicious fresh omelettes a great selection. Our room was at the back of the hotel away from the ice rink so it was reasonably quiet and extremely comforatable. If every returning to the city I would definately return to this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: We were in room 327 very quiet

We stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holiday season. It has the best location, only 5mins walk from the main train station and 1min walk to the main shopping mall. It is approx 10-15mins walk to Old Town. The hotel was clean and quiet (we asked for a quiet room though), the breakfast was good.

Only questionable incident was the customer service we received from a turd working behind front desk. He was extremely rude and thought he was king of the world talking to us - he obviously did not understand the notion of customer service. Avoid the blond hair guy with glasses.

Other than that, worthwhile stay! :)

Room Tip: Request for a "quiet room far from the lifts"

A good stay, the hotel was very clean (as with the majority of the city). Breakfast was a bit of a nightmare on 2 out of our 3 mornings there, they looked to be struggling a bit with the amount of guests vs staff.
Our room, whilst not the largest was neat and comfortable with an excellent bathroom!
The only real gripe we had was the ice rink which was stationed right outside the hotel and our window - a lovely view but the constant loud music that was played the wasn't welcome!! Not a problem if you're out all day but didn't finish til 10pm so wish we'd been informed of it at check-in.
All in all a good stay at a reasonable rate - although if visiting again I'd probably stay a bit nearer the centre of the old town.

Just returned from a 3 night stay. The Hotel was lovely. Bathroom was amazing, wished we could of brought it home. The room was spacious and very clean, modern in design. Slept very well in comfy beds. There was also tea and coffee available in the room which was nice as rarely find this abroad. For breakfast there was a choice of cereals, cold meats, fruit and breads plus hot cooked breakfast and a station where you could order fried eggs, pancakes or omelettes.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing to much trouble.

The location is excellent for walking into the old town and square, takes about 10 mins. The Castle and cathedral are well worth a visit and very cheap. we took the train from airport which only takes 15 mins and costs 10 pln. Trams are an easy way to get around, you can buy tickets in the small newsagent shop in the walkway under the road by the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants in the old town to suit every pocket,

Would recomend this hotel and would stay again if returned to Krakow.

Room Tip: We wanted a room with shower and bath, these seem to be on the road side, no problem with traffic no...
