This was a great choice of hotel after a 12 hour train ride from Berlin. It is located right next to a great shopping centre and the train and bus stations are just a short walk away. If you're using Krakow airport take the train into Krakow and you will arrive very close to Andel's. You are also just minutes away from the main square in Krakow accessed by going by an underpass next to the hotel.

The hotel itself is of a very high standard and the rooms are very nice and beds very comfortable. The food was very good and room service I had on the night of arrival was very good. Would have liked to stay here longer.

This hotel has a modern feel and is very clean. I felt a bit of luxury coming from the material choices and decor. Especially the bathroom has a deluxe feel. Of course this is not a luxury hotel, but still. We very much enjoyed the breakfast, which was fresh and had a great assortment. The hotel even has an egg chef! We had lunch at the hotel restaurant at two occasions, soups and salads. The food was really good, best Caesar salad ever. The location is also great, a short walk to the city and all it's attractions and also facing the train station. Across the hotell is the big shopping centre Galeria Krakowska which has many stores and some restaurants as well. I really recommend this hotel to anyone who's going to Cracow.

Andel's hotel is a modern hotel, suitable for business or leisure. The rooms are comfortable and bathrooms spacious and modern with bath and separate shower. The wardrobe was a good size and included a mini bar and safe. We asked to be away from the lift and were given a room overlooking the shopping mall on the 4th floor. The room was quiet, this might have been because they weren't busy and we didn't have any neighbours, but delightful not to hear a loud TV through the walls. There was a good variety of food on the breakfast buffet, hot and cold. Best of all is the location, a short walk from the railway station and bus station. We chose to get the bus from the airport, as there was one leaving as we came out of the terminal and although it took longer to get in to Cracow centre than the train we were at least on the move. You have to buy your tickets before you board from a shop in the airport terminal and then endorse them using one of the ticket machines on the bus. Andels Hotel is also about 5 minutes walk from the Market Square, so no need for taxis or trams and opposite is a large modern shopping mall, if you have any time left for retail therapy. Although food and drink is considerably cheaper than in the UK, the shopping mall prices were about the same.

Room Tip: Ask for an outside room as I think there are some rooms that face inwards

I loved my 4 day stay here. The hotel is on the edge of the city centre, within easy walking distance of the main parts. There is a big shopping centre right beside it. The location is beautiful, and i felt very safe even at night. The staff are lovely - the fire alarm went iff while we were havIng breakfast one day, and all guests had to leave for 20mins. When we went back in, the staff brought fresh breakfast iver to the table (even though it was a buffet) and went out of their way to help us. I went here because family recommended it, and i have recommended it to any of my friends and family who've been to krakow since.

Also the city is beautiful, lots to see. There is a pretzel stand right outside the hotel - i fell in love with it during my stay, and ate more pretzels in 4 days than most would in a lifetime!

I chose this hotel for two reasons: location and previous critics, and I was not deceived.
The hotel is located less than 100 meters from the main train station, and just nearby the historical Krakow center.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet is well stocked with a large choice.
The rooms are modern and high-tech, including a large bathroom with glassed shower.
The only complaint I could make is that the rooms could be a little larger.
All things considered, an excellent choice for any kind of stay in Krakow, either for business or tourism. Well worth the price.

Room Tip: Some rooms only have a view on an inside court. If available, ask for a view on the place.

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location. Positioned right next to a large shopping mall and across from the train station. There are frequent trains from the airport so it is easier than getting a taxi.

The staff were fantastic and the hotel never felt too busy (even though the England FA press team were staying there at the same time). The room was clean and very modern. There was free wifi whilst we were there but this was only because of the press team staying there. There is normally a charge for this. However, there is a food court in the shopping mall next door where you can easily use the wifi for free if you need it.

If going to Krakow you should definitely visit Auschwitz and the Salt Mines if no where else. On the Salt Mines you do have to go down about 500 stairs and there is quite a bit of walking (which they don't mention in the information). There are lots of places you can book these from, we booked at the tourist information office. Would recommend Krakow. Very cheap prices (about a quarter of the cost in the UK), friendly people and felt really safe all the time.

A great hotel and a great place, would thoroughly recommend.
