For anyone wishing to stay in Krakow, preferring something modern rather than a 'traditional' polish hotel then this is for you. It's location is 5mins walk from the Rynek and it is situated next to a modern shopping centre.
It handily located opposite the main train station in Krakow, which has a link to the airport, making it very easy to get to. The buses from airport also stop nearby.
It has a bright, friendly atmosphere and the staff are very helpful. Busy stylish bar onsite, with a shaded outside area on the square.
The rooms are well done, with modern fittings in the bathrooms.
I've stayed here twice in the last few weeks and much prefer it to the Raddisson.

This Hotel is trendy clean and central, if you arrive at John Paul II airport , there will be a free bus right outside the front of the airport which will take you to the train platform which goes into Krakow ,this hotel is right outside the railway station, across a square with a new shopping centre next to it . If you want to go to the salt mine there is a small bus park out the back door of the hotel it will take you there for under £1 the receptionist informed us of this, we also got the bus trip to Auschwitz and Birkenau Camps tour via our receptionist it picks you up from the hotel daily ,,leave around 8 and back at 4pm ,, for food and drink i enjoyed the Pod Wawelem Restaurant..pod means under in Polish so this restaurant is under Wawelem Castle ,,(across the road ) we will be going back again next Jan ,,its cold at this time but they keep the xmas trees up until the end of Jan in Poland so its like xmas all over again in Jan ,, enjoy your stay ..

I stayed here for 1 week during my last visit to Krakow on business. I loved the location which is right near the train station, a nice mall and the historic square. There was great people watching from the lobby cafe and the room was fantastic. Its hard to imagine a more comfortable place to stay in Krakow. Breakfast bar was also excellent. Fitness room was OK but not up to Western standards. They should move it from the basement to a room with a view.

My husband and I stayed here for five days as part of a city break to Krakow. We have stayed in the Andels in Prague and purposely picked it again as we had such a great time last time. If you like modern hotels you cant beat Andels. This hotel is a lovely, clean, modern hotel right in the centre. Location is so handy, you can walk everywhere. Staff are friendly and speak good english; they are very helpful with directions, suggestions etc. Rooms are a decent size, ours had a comfy king size bed. The bathroom was spacious and spotless; ours had a bath and separate shower with a great, powerful shower with a large shower head. As others have said, the toilet also has a transparent glass door separating it from the main bathroom. Nice toiletries. If I had to be picky, I would mention theres not much wardrobe space and the hangers dont have hooks for skirts/trousers on them. But other than that, theres very little to dislike about the rooms. Breakfast was a decent buffet spread of hot and cold foods. The fried eggs were severly overcooked most days, but apart from that everthing was nice and tasty (there were plenty other egg choices available). The old town square is about a 5 minute walk if that. Oscars bar in the hotel is fine was a quick drink before bed, but there are many, many bars in the vicinity to choose from. We loved Harris jazz bar in the square - great music and fab mojitos. Piano Rouge was also lovely - amazing decor. Both cellar bars. We had some great food in Restaurant Florianska, in Ulica Florianska (on the way to the square from the hotel). If we return to Krakow we will definitely stay in Andels again. Recommended.

This Hotel is perfectly located for the old Town and next to a huge shopping centre and the railway station. Modern, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgable about the city and all excursions. The restaurant is very good and the breakfast buffet has good variety. This hotel is fantastic value and highly recommended.

This hotel was really easy to get to. We flew in with Ryanair and only had to cross the road to the train platform to take us into Krakow. How cheap was it! And it was really quick. Even better, when we came out of the station Andel's hotel was directly opposite and looked great. Usually you find hotels close to train stations are in a less than salubrious part of town but not so with Andels.

The entrance was immaculate and the reception staff very helpful. The rooms were fantastic and we overlooked a skating rink right outside the door. Very modern and clean with fabulous lighting, especially in the bathroom to relax. As well as the great room, you had a separate glass cubicle for a shower which was handy.

Breakfast was fantastic - a huge variety and really enjoyable. Hotel looks like it is used for business quite a lot but that didn't spoil the fact we were there for leisure.

To get to the main square, you simply turn right out of the hotel and cross through the underpass. Krakow is beautiful and the old buildings are lovely. The Christmas markets are also worth seeing and good fun to go round.

Would thoroughly recommend Krakow and you can't get any better than Andels.

Stayed here as part of a stag group in January and was impressed. Considering for two nights we paid under a £100 each, this place was definitely worth it. A modern hotel with stylish rooms, well equipped with a plasma screens, DVD players and speakers in the shower room that play through what’s on the TV. This hotel is definitely one of the best I have ever stayed in. The breakfast could have been better, although was above average. Some may find the rooms slightly small and the gym oversold, but all in all a perfect 5 out of 5 and credit to the professional hotel staff.
