The hotel is quiet and cozy with responsive staff. Not far from Railway/Auto station with several direct bus lines. WiFi is fast enough and stable. However, keep in mind it's a 2 star hotel so don't expect anything posh.

We wanted accomodation near but not in central Krakow due to parking problems & costs. This hotel has very good bus access to/from the town center. Bus 129, 105, 405 every 10-15 minutes, buy tickets on board. It also has a very large parking area which is free for hotel users.
Reception is staffed by extremely friendly & pleasant people, here you can also buy minor items (soft drinks, beer, etc).
We booked an apartment for 2 nights. Breakfast is included-so I should not complain too badly, but the breakfast is basic.
Room with TV & allegedly WiFi (never used it). Only criticism of the room was the bed-hard as rock & completely uncomfortable.
440 zloty (105 Euro) for 2 nights for 2 people is acceptable.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a soft bed! (not sure they exist-but you can ask)

Stayed in Hotel Monika for 3 nights during a trip to Krakow. The hotel is located 20 min + walk from Krakow main centre, but directly opposite the university.
The cost was £150 for 3 sharing a room for 3 nights including breakfast. (Breakfast was basic and included ham and cheese for sandwiches. Cereals were available.)
The Hotel offers a Polish feel which is great in Poland! It is not a commercialised property that has carbon copy rooms and it offers a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are really helpful and speak enough English to provide help if / when needed.
The rooms are: basic but clean, beds are hard but this could be to your liking and there is plenty of plug sockets.
The bathroom is dated but has a powerful and hot shower.
I personally had no quibbles for the money I paid for my stay however I can see some people struggling here.
There is no lift and quite a lot of stairs if on a higher floor. Outside there is a small courtyard to the rear and a large carpark to the front. To the side there is a main road which can be noisy if windows are open.

My friend who lives in Poland booked this hotel for us as it was slightly out of the main city and as one of our party is in a wheelchair claimed to be disabled friendly. There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and the staff are lovey and there is always someone who speaks English on duty, BUT the ramp up the steps to get there is so steep it too 3 of us to push the wheelchair up (the user weighs only 40kg, 88lbs,6 stone so not heavy) and the breakfast room is downstairs with no lift access. there is a gravel car park for sole use of the hotel and there are 2 blocks to it with a pretty garden. Firm beds

Room Tip: for disabled visitors in wheelchairs, make sure you have 2 or 3 strong friends to go with you and as...

We stayed there one night, just a stop on our way from Szczyrk to Elblag. Very nice and helpful staff. Simple and very basic rooms. Lack of elevator is a problem if you get a room at 3rd or 4th floor, No airco, so it was very hot in our room. Average breakfast but sufficient. In all good stay for a very low price.

Room Tip: Ask for room on 1st floor, there is no elevator.

Location is outside of the historical centre of Cracow but clos enough to get there by bus or by car (5-10 mins). Old building but inside it's clean and tidy. The rooms are quite small but staying at hotel in fact is not what you arrive for to Cracow;) Good value, not as much expensive as the hotels in the centre. In my opinion it's worth the money.
