Stayed in this beautiful hostel last weekend, it really felt more like a luxury hotel, the room was so beautifully decorated, someone has really made a big effort to make this place homely, for instance the bathroom on the bottom floor had an escher painting wall-papered in it complete with matching floor and wall tiles, very well presented. within walking distance of the town square as well. so i'd definatelly recommend it.

I have stayed at Deco hostel twice now and absolutely love it - a beautiful building with friendly, helpful staff and fantastic facilities. It's worth staying here for the free stuff alone - free breakfast with sandwiches to take away for lunch, endless tea and coffee, Xbox and games, laundry service, big kitchen, huge DVD library and surround-sound TV lounge to watch them in... loved it!
There's lots of communal space to meet other travellers in but the rooms are fairly quiet if you want to get an early night. Rooms are fabulously decorated and clean, beds are comfy. Staff speak fluent English and will organise trips and transport for you. The location is a bit further out of the centre than some hostels, but everything ese more than makes up for that. Ten out of ten :D

Clearly not the most central hostel, a 20 minute walk into central Krakow past several other places. It's pretty gloomy inside (old building poorly lit) and has no bar. We were given a room on the ground floor, but worried it would he noisey, we asked to move and were put into the Pidgeon Coup on the 5th floor. We could still hear people returning from bars at 3 a.m., but otherwise much quieter! Common room had big tele, DVD and X-Box for free. Also, free breakfast with sandwich (taken for lunch), free wifi and free first load of laundry. Altogether a pleasent time.

Positive:
Clean, lovely room as describe on their website (we had a double bed room which is just PERFECT)
Good breakfast with 24hrs free tea and coffee
Friendly and helpful staffs
The shared bathroom is clean all the time.
Negative:
it's a bit far from center (15/2-mins walk) so getting back after a few drinks in the evening the walk could be 'less enjoyable'.
