Friendly staff, from the moment I walked in after midnight they fed me and plied me with vodka! Comfy non-bunk beds, towel and lockers with padlocks provided, everything a budget traveller needs. Good location very close to the train station and about 5 mins from the old town. Basically the best value for money hostel I have ever stayed in and such a friendly atmosphere, felt like going round to a mate's place!

Greg and Tom was great!
- The location was the perfect distance from the train station and city centre, about 5 minutes walk,
- The staff was really friendly
- The rooms were really clean
- The food was nice ( although you need to make sure you're on time otherwise you get the leftovers)
- the commomn room area was perfect for meeting people

Would definitely return !

During my stay in Krakow, G&T was simply memorable. Really good location (a couple of blocks from downtown - market square), a lot of events (every day we had a new one), clean, amazing breakfast (which was one of my greatest priorities during these days) and the most important thing.. the most incredible staff you can find in Krakow!.. if you're looking for a great experience in this city, you should definetely go for it on this hostel.

Room Tip: actually just keep the door closed and you'll be dreaming like a baby

We hostel is very well located, very near to the train station. The staff is really friend and the hostel is very clean. But when I went to sleep, the bed creak so much that I could not sleep. Every time someone moved on the bed, I would wake up with the noise. Besides that, around 5am some drunk people arrive in the hostel on the room next door and they could wake up the whole floor shouting a lot, with no respect with the others. I don't recomend it if you want a place to sleep, only if you are looking for parties.

We stayed 1 night at this hostel which is well located close to the station & historic city square. We drove down from Poznan and found it relatively easy to find despite our sat/nav failing. The entry is a little off putting, but we climbed the stairs to reception area and were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff & taken to our accommodation which was more than satisfactory. Our double room also included a single bed and was spacious & well appointed. The entrance area had a computer with free internet...great for keeping in touch with loved ones. There were 4 bedrooms with colour coded keys, separate bathroom with 2 shower units, separate toilet and kitchen with lounge area & TV. Breakfast is at 7am on same floor as reception and they also have dinners, but we went out so did not sample this. The security is also good and there is a car park nearby. We visited Auschwitz/Birkenau (a sobering experience) and explored the beautiful city square area whilst there. Stayed a 2nd night at a hotel due to booking mix up (not the fault of the hostel) & our friends took over our room. We had not previously stayed in a hostel & recommend this type of accommodation, especially for people travelling on a budget.

If carlsberg did hostels then they'd be like this one: perfect location, amazingly friendly and helpful staff, free delicious breakfast AND dinner!! wonderful atmosphere as you get to meet everyone at breakfast and dinner. The double room is absolutely huge, i mean massive! it has its own leather couch and big tv with dvd player. The common rooms all have tvs and dvd players too. They have hundreds of dvds you can borrow. It's on a couple of floors and each floor is like an apartment with it's own bathrooms and kitchen and common room. The dorm rooms seemed really nice too. Made some good friends here. Spent 5 and a half weeks travelling around europe and this is by far the best place we stayed in. Phenomenal!

Room Tip: If you're travelling as a couple go for the double room - it's fantastic!

We (me & my boyfriend, both mid-20s) stayed at Greg & Tom hostel 2. The second hostel is like a large appartment located within the City's walls - very central - perfect for discovering Kakow by foot. The staff were helpful in letting us know what were the local attractions and how to find our way about. Highly reccommend to those wishing to discover Krakow by foot.
