My friend and I stayed in the 4-bed mixed dorm.
Room:
(pros) clean & spacious, clean sheets, big individual lockers with locks, individual bedside lamp, sufficient plug points, free towel, speedy wifi in room.
(cons) squeaky bed, a bit noisy at night since the room is just by the main road, a lot of stairs (so be prepared if you have big luggages).

Bath:
(pros) clean bathroom with hot shower.
(cons) only one shower room for the whole floor, so you'll have to wait forever for your turn.

Location:
(pros) very near main train & bus station, a stone's throw from the shopping complex

What I like best here: Super speedy wifi, friendly staff, free breakfast AND dinner

Room Tip: Be early for your free breakfast and dinner, good food are usually gone within the first hour. But d...

'Greg and Tom Hostel' displays in the common room the awards it has won over the past several years. This display takes up all of one wall, and spills out into the reception area - and the place deserves every single one.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff greet you upon entrance with a map and their own personal recommendations on what to do and where to go. They are more than happy to help with any issue at all, and seem to thrive on the opportunity to give a helping hand. On more than one occasion during my stay there, the guests were invited to join the staff for a night out after they finished their shifts

The rooms, kitchen, and common room are absolutely spotless and airy. No bunk-beds: all single beds arranged in a neat line, with large lockers and - in the case of the four-bed rooms upstairs - plenty of floor space to go around. I can't speak for the six-bedders, but I'm sure they are presented to the same standard. (Also, the price is so cheap, you might as well go for the four-beds). The showers are not as clean as they could be, and there's only one for the whole upper floor, but that is a small point compared to the wonderful amenities of 'Greg and Tom'. Balconies, at least two kitchens (I think they are renovating a third), free tea and coffee and juice; linen and towel included in the price.

The most wonderful thing about Tiggers, a wise man once said, is that Tiggers are wonderful things. The most wonderful thing about 'Greg and Tom' is a harder decision to make. Is it the organised social events, like pub crawls or bowling? Is it the spacious lockers, bedside lights and plug sockets? The fact that they work in partnership with a tour group to Auschwitz and the Salt Mine, with trips including transportation and a free lunch? Maybe the super-speedy wifi?

For me, the most wonderful thing about this hostel is the fact that they offer free breakfast and dinner, every day. That's right: two free meals, daily. Buffet meals at that, and the food here is so good you'll definitely go back for seconds. Traditional Polish fare, pasta, chicken, salad; cereals, fruit, bacon, sausages, olives: it's all available, and it's all for free. As true testament to the magnificence of the place, when I arrived to drop off my bags at 10am, understanding that I wasn't able to check in until 2pm, I was invited to go into the kitchen and see if there was any breakfast left - try getting a free breakfast at an upmarket hotel before check in, and you'll be laughed at. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

It is located literally across the road from Krakow Glowny, the main train station, and 2 minutes walk from the Old Town Square. You'd be a fool to stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: The rooms don't have bunks, so it makes little difference if you choose a 4- or 6-bed dorm.

I will definitely be coming back here, wish I had stayed here for so much longer! The rooms were amazing, everything was super clean and THE BEST showers of any hostel I have ever been too, amazing. The location is also perfect, super close to everything. I was instantly made to feel at home by the staff, David even offered to show me round when his shift ended, you cannot get better then that. Super friendly, lovely staff couldn't have asked for more from a hostel. The common room is amazing, has all the games consoles you will ever need, the food is amazing, best breakfast at any hostel ever! Anyone who visits Krakow needs to stay here, I will definitely be going back and recommend it so highly.

This hostel is great! I have been Poland is the 10th country that I have visited on this trip and this is by far the best hostel that I have stayed in. The breakfasts and dinners are absolutely amazing! The best food I have ever had in a hostel. Every great hostel needs great staff, and the staff here are amazing! They are very helpful and will greet everyone with a warm smile. When i come back to Krakow, I will definitely stay here again.
