i was a little concerned about the location when i booked (it doesn't seem very friendly at google street view) but it was a nice surprise!! it's a safe neighborhood and close to everywhere.
the hostel itself has a nice atmosphere and good common areas, but the rooms are kind of uncomfortable.

The first time I went to Krakow, I stayed at this hostel with my friend. By reading the other reviews I saw that some of them were commenting on the alley to get there..which is actually the good point of it. The alley brings you to the Hostel's garden where you can have an amazing time by night and nice bbq. It feels like a hidden paradise in the heart of the Jewish neighbourhood which is definitely the nicest in Krakow, away from the touristic crowd of the Market Square, with nice coffee places and little bars. The dorms are big and comfortable, and not in the same floor of the super nice bar the Hostel has. The breakfast offered is super good with many different options for your morning appetite. The staff working at the hostel was also very nice and they real took the time to explain us the different tours or place to visit in the city. This is definitely a hostel where to stay!

Lovely wooden house turned into a hostel. All the staff were so nice and helpful and everything was perfect. Asked one of the staff and he gave us a tip for going for a walk up in the mountains just over the road and it was breathtaking!

Couldn't fault it :)

The hostel entrance is situated in the back of an alley, during the night it is very dark and looks quite dangerous. The bathrooms are very weird and also quite dirty. The rooms are small, any person that moves disturbs everyone in the room. On the other hand, the receptionist are great, they are very polite and can give information about everything in the city. In addition, the breakfast is free, with a lot of different food available.

44 of us have recently had a 4 day stay at the Hostel. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were reasonably clean and comfortable. Great location - walking distance to town centre and the Jewish Quarters.
Great Vodka!

First thing you'll notice is the quite hidden entry of the hostel, which in a way is quite comforting. Don't be weirded out, it looks strange how you get inside, but once in you will be warmly welcomed by the person at the reception. Who will explain to you where everything is and how things work. Also you will notice that everything is kept really clean. We had a great stay and would go back. Its super close to the city center and they offer tours for little money (auschwitz being one of them for 130 zlotys= which is like 40-50 $ and include the shuttle transport there and back, plus the tour through the 2 museums, expect to be out for 6-7 hours in total). Bus to the airport leaves nearby. 24 hours service at the reception. Breakfast included

Room Tip: We were on 3rd floor. Didn't see any other rooms. But ours was really comfortable
