“Nice and silent place”
Reviewed 3 August 2013

Far from city center you can visit this small but really nice Zoo. A little like a park is so cosy place, you can even make a walk through ignoring animals and it will still be ok:) Not very big, but well maintained.

“Super Zoo!”
Reviewed 2 August 2013

Really enjoyed a day out here. It's easy to get to, get the bus from outside Cracovia Stadium for a few zloty. We decided on a day out here because it was a roasting hot day in the city centre. The zoo is in a forest, so a little cooler. Animals were well cared for and in suitable environments on the whole. Saw some animals I'd never seen before too - Geoffroy's Cat, Sand Cat and a loris. Recommended for families. Really cheap too, only 18 zloty for adults, for a few hours of entertainment. Food and drink were really reasonable too. Favourite part were the Jaguar cubs, totally gorgeous.

“Would go again”
Reviewed 23 July 2013

Was here 4 years ago and second time visiting Krakow (July 2013) we went again.

Bring your own food and drinks, because what they sell isn't very nice, but other than that cheap entry, Zoo size really good, petting Zoo for children not keen to be in the same 'room' as the animals.

Very nice that the ZOO is up in the 'mountains' - refreshing.

Would go again, esp. With kids.

“Great small zoo”
Reviewed 23 July 2013

This was our second visit to this lovely small zoo. Bus 134 gets you there from Stadium Cracovia, bus costs 2.80 zloty and it takes 10 minutes, buses are very busy so you may not get a seat. Zoo entrance is 18 zloty per person. Lots of birds as you first enter then Agouti and meerkats. There are various routes around the zoo but as it is so compact you will be able to see everything especially if you walk around a couple of times. Lots of small cats, ocelot, serval and jaguarondi to name a few. Large cats are black leopard, Chinese leopard, tiger, lion and snow leopards. Various antelope and deer species along with chimps and various monkeys. The pygmy hippo had a baby that was born in April. The maned wolves and the European wolves were running around their enclosures. The camel had young as did a lot of the antelope species. Zebra and tapir here also. The mini zoo has petting animals for children such as rabbits, guinea pigs, donkeys and Shetland ponies. You can feed these animals with carrots available in the mini zoo. A lovely day out. There are cafes and shops outside the zoo, you can go in and out as many times as you like, all you have to do is show your valid ticket on re-entry.
