Good Location, friendly staff, rooms ok although i didn't see the difference between standard and Deluxe ( which i was meant to be in), Bar staff good, restaurant excellent.

Wifi - ok sometimes could not get on, only downside is if u have disabilty or struggle with stairs there is no lift..

Also, breakfast i would miss its very expensive for what it is...

Stayed here for 3 nights last week. Had an excellent stay and would tell anyone to go there. We didn't notice the noise like a few people have mentioned, infact we slept very well as the beds were so comfy!! Prices in the restaurant and bar downstairs are great value. Great location and the staff are so helpful. I have stayed in 5 star hotels and the staff haven't ever been as helpful as those at the spatz!

We chose this Aparthotel because of the price, but it delivered far above our expectations!

The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff were super friendly! The adjoining Mexican restaurant and bar were fantastic also.

The location was very good. Less than 10 mins walk from the town centre and about 20 mins walk from the huge shopping centre, bus station and train station. It was just far enough away from the main square to be quiet, and was on the edge of the Jewish district.

For sight seeing, shopping and even a wild night out, the location was great as you were never more than a few minutes walk from anything

Room Tip: Ask for the delux rooms. For the extra little money the rooms are massive!

Stayed at the hotel for two nights on a couples weekend trip. Hotel is very welcoming and modern, as are the staff who are very polite and are constantly trying to help you out and make sure your stay is as good as possible.
Great location within the Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz). The restaurants in the area are great and tend to be where the locals would go on a night out. Some of the best restaurants and clubs are situated around the hotel and lead to us having several amazing dining experiences.
The room is very modern and stylish and are a good size for those using it as a base to explore the city.
Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Krakow. All trips can be booked at reception and ideally located for everything you would want to see in Krakow.

stayed in Krakow for 3 nights in the middle of February, picked the Spatz hotel because of wonderful reviews on TA, so glad that we picked it, lived up to everything that had been said. the front door staff cannot do enough to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible, the rooms are small but comfortable and ideal as a base for seeing the city, had three very comfy nights sleep. the hotel being located in the Jewish quarter made it very easy to see some traditional sights and eat at authentic local restaurants. when you are beaten by the rich polish cuisine the hotels Mexican restaurant provides a delicious (and generously portioned) alternative, the hotel is a short ten minute stroll from the old town where market stalls and more excellent restaurants await. despite Poland usually being in the minus degrees the hotel is always warm and definitely inviting after a long day out sightseeing. a perfect weekend away for a couple on a budget that don't want to scrimp on comfort.

P.S. if you would like to try a fantastic bagel go to the cafe Botanica on Bracka street just of the main market square in old town.

Room Tip: on the first floor you can hear the music from the bar but only if you really listen

We stayed in the Spatz for 3 nights last week (13 - 16th Feb 2012). The hotel is in a great location for visiting the Old Town, Great square, Wawel castle complex and the Jewish quarter. We found our way to the hotel from the tram stop very easy, we were greeted by extremely friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in room 9, set up for a triple room (3 adults). There was plenty of space and the room was very clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff during our stay. They do not clean the room unless you ask for it, they will of course change towels etc and provide anything you ask for.
The restaraunt and bar facility looked very good, we did not use them as we were too jiggered after our full days walking around this lovely city. We would definitely stay in the spatz again.
