“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

Rubinstein is an upscale hotel in heart of Kazimierz with prices that would compare with a motel in the US. Courteous staff and excellent breakfast. The only problem with the room is that it was dark with indirect lighting and an insufficient number of electrical outlets. Closet space was also limited. The hotel also provided a generic soap-shampoo in showers rather than committed bottles of shampoo.

We both loved this hotel located at the sweet spot in Kazimierz, and will definitely come back.
We stayed in room 403. Everything was newly renovated albeit not less charming for that reason. Rooms were spacious and had a great view over the plaza. Breakfast was great and so was the restaurant connected to the hotel. Very high quality.

Only minus: There is no coffee maker in the room, so bring your own, and the pillow/blankets are very unbreathable and heavy. Doesn't fit very well with a 30 degree-week. The hairdryer is above average, so no need to bring that :). Do try the hotel. It's location and charm is everything you need for a perfect trip to Krakow.

We had a 4 night stay at rubinstein in krakow..very spacious rooms and well presented..friendly staff and breakfast was ample although buffet style it offered plenty.Drinks in the bar were quite expensive but lots of bars nearby which were great value. The menu in the resturant was limited but again lots of resturants within walking distance offering really good food at very reasonably prices.

As Krakow residents it can sound strange that we pay from time to time a consequent amount of money (it was still very good deal for what you got in 2013, not sure it is the same today, check with them) for the 502 Belvedere Apartment at Rubinstein Residence at Szeroka Street. Nice view from the window of this top floor apartment, you can see a panorama of Kazimierz, the Old Jewish Quarter. And first of all you are in the middle of charming and most energetic place in Krakow, full of restaurants, bars, antiquities shops, flea markets, pubs.

Met all of our expectations. The welcome was excellent, room was large and very well presented with a superior quality shower room. Although we ate out most nights we always had breakfast in the hotel and were never disappointed, with the vast array of cheeses, fruits, fish, bread, cereals and pastries. The two evening meals we had were of amazing quality.
The hotel is located in the old jewish quarter, which suited us perfectly.
Truly a lovely hotel of excellent standards, ideal for couples looking for a quiet break.

We arrived pretty early - 10.30am & knew that check in may not be possible, but one of our two rooms was ready ...result... so we put cases in & headed out. The hotel is beautiful & clean & the staff could not be more helpful or pleasant.
Located on the square - a great location within a 20 minute walk of the old town/castle. The area is a must for fantastic restaurants too.
Our room - 302, was huge & the comfiest bed ever! The bathroom was amazing! Breakfasts were excellent with a huge choice that set us up for the day.
I have no hesitation in recommending the great hotel - go, you will not be disappointed!

Nice hotel, very comfortable for a short stay and a good location in the Jewish quarter. Would have liked to have stayed in a more authentic room as ours was a bit dingy with a boring view. Fabulous bathroom and comfy beds.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view if you're going for the romance and the atmosphere of staying in the...
