The hostel has few ok things but too many downsize. I stayed in a private ensuite double room where the bathroom was bigger than the room itself. The room had no wardrobe, only 1chair, a bedside table between the 2beds and a little desk. There was no space on the floor for the luggage which had to stay in the bathroom. The mattresses were old, you can feel the bedsprings making sleep quality very poor. The common area, kitchen and tv are in the same room. Around it are all the dorms. It is impossible to spend some quiet time in the common area or watch tv as the 5 dorms around it are 10-12 bunk beds each. There is no gas cooker and burns but just 1little electric stove, so forget to cook any meal while you are there. If you stay on a private room you have to come out of the hostel and trough a cold corridor reach the other part of the building where there is the common area and kitchen. Location is ok, the place is not right in the city centre but overall is not far. 15 mins walk or just 2tram stops away the Rynek and the train station. Reception is open 24h, the girls don't speak fantastic english but enough to ask and receive information.
