This restaurant may have an odd name and it is not obvious in what way Milk & Co relates to the Blu Radisson chain of hotels. This is a great hotel restaurant accessible from the street or from the interior of the hotel and it is the second time I have eaten here. On both occasions the food was gorgeous to taste and beautifully presented without being "over-the-top" nouvelle cuisine platters. On both occasions I went for an "a la carte" option rather than the all inclusive "surf and turf" for 130 PLN option.
The "a la carte" option I chose turned out a little expensive but well worth it. A beautiful, very fully flavoured crayfish soup (well more like a chowder) hit the spot completely, followed by a beautifully cooked chunk of salmon with bits and pieces and (really good and unusual) fondant potatoes, followed by a plum crumble with ice cream: all faultless and pretty close to Michelin star quality.
The atmosphere of a large open-space hotel restaurant is not everyone's "cup of tea" but this was more than compensated-for by a waitress who was more than pleasant and helpful and "watching what was going on".
It was a good night out and with a good Italian white (110 PLN) and with a cofee and a liqueur the total cost to me was 220 PLN. Argue amongst yourselves.
