We stayed in the Red Brick Apartments for one night. I think we could say it was the best priced apartment we have stayed in - in the world. About a 5 mins walk to the main train station ( airport train goes straight to this station) about a 10 mins lovely walk through the old town to the square. Very clean and quiet.

Staff were extremely helpful and polite. They recommended an excellent veggie restaurant around the corner which we popped to on our arrival for some lunch. Try the spinach pancakes!

If we come back to Krakow this would be our only choice for accommodation.

So much better than we ever expected - do not let the reception fool you! Beautifully decorated in a modern classic style. So much room, I believe the apartments used to be residential and you can tell because it really feels like a home from home. Great location, 5-10 minutes walk from the square.

Great welcome, spotlessly clean, helpful staff, their taxi drivers a perfect gentleman and very obliging. I nearly sent him in wrong direction but.....he knew best, thankfully.
Apartment had all I needed - and more. Fridge/bar very reasonable - unlike many hotels I've been in. Thanks, guys

Room Tip: Mine overlooked road but never disturbed.

Everyone says that these apartments are in a great location and they were not wrong, turn left at the front entrance then left at the corner, and within a minute or two you were on one of the streets leading you to the Main Sq. The apartment had every thing you needed, towels were changed every day and some tea and coffee were supplied as were two bottles of water, there was also a minibar stock in the fridge, and the price list was not bad if you wanted an extra drink. Turn right at the front door and right at the next corner and there is a small supermarket, if you need milk or bread etc. they seemed to sell everything. Trips can be booked at reception, but no hard sell, the girls on reception all spoke English and answered our queries. Only one small complaint there was an overwhelming smell of fried food in the reception area, thankfully when we were in our room you could not smell anything. I would recommend these apartments to anyone visiting Krakow, very good value for money

Great location.
Turn right from of the front door, veer right again at the corner and you are within-minutes of the old town. From the Red Brick hotel to the gate of the old town probably 5 mins easy walk.

For those arriving by train from the central station, also tops 5 mins easy walk. So easy in fact that you exit the station platform, ignore the stairs up to ground level and exit straight ahead into the shopping centre complex. Take the escalator right in front of you up one floor and exit into the street. The Red Brick Hotel is on the left hand side of the street facing you (near the end of the street). That means that the Red Brick Hotel is well situated for food and general shopping.

Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. They will organize tours for you if you ask. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day.

We had a lovely room in the loft which was great. There is a small but functional kitchen, with basic utensils and kitchen gear, just enough for 2 for one sitting. It does lack a cheese grater, sieve and serving/microwave bowls. If anything, I would recommend that the kitchen utensils etc be increased so that you have enough to prepare a meal and not have to wash each time you eat or make a cuppa. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and microwave (convection?).

One thing to note though is that the loft apartment is split over two levels with the bedroom up the stairs in the loft and all the rest downstairs (bathroom, kitchen, lounge and cupboards) so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, very small children or those who don't fancy going up and down stairs.

The water pressure was good for showering and the room was cleaned daily.

There is a lift to all four floors.

If you have purchased breakfast you will be given a voucher to use at the establishment next door. The food was ok, but not great and the staff worked hard to keep everything topped up.

Two good restaurants right around the corner... Next to the breakfast hotel. Cheaper than in the Old Town. I recommend Jarema which serves Polish foods. We were lucky to get a table without a booking, depends on your timing.

Lots of public transport right outside the front door for those who might want to visit the Jewish quarter or Oskar Schindler's factory. We walked, but some may prefer public transport or a tourist drop off.

In a nutshell, great value and location, with lovely staff, I would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: The loft apartment 4 has good views over the rooftops, however as access is via a set of stairs it m...
