“Good choice, central location”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

The apartment are located couple of minutes away from the main train station, from where you can catch a train back to the airport (takes 19minutes). Also located nearby is the city's big shopping centre, Galeria Krakowska, with hundreds of shops including all big high street names such as H&M and Zara; high end ones such as Max Mara plus food outlets such as Subway, MacDonald's, Starbucks etc. You can find the exact location of the hotel on Google Maps, easy to spot thanks to its distinctive red brick! Apartments are spacious, with very high ceilings, include self contained kitchen with microwave, electric hob, dishwasher (dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid were included) cutlery, wine glasses, tea and coffee sachets etc. Bathroom had a shower, toiletries plus hairdryer. Safe was also included, as well as flat screen TV, complimentary bottles of water (although please note drinks places in the fridge are payable extra, there's a costs sheet included). If you walk out of the hotel and turn left, you will find yourself stone throwaway from Barbican, minutes away from the main square. Overall a good choice at a reasonable price.

Stayed at the Red Brick with four friends. Fabulous location. Just two minutes walk to the main square and less than a minute in the other direction to a huge shopping complex which also housed a large Carrefour supermarket. The apartment was well equipped and spacious. Set on two levels, the second bedroom was reached by very narrow, very steep stairs. Because of this we all agreed that an en-suite in the upstairs bedroom would have been a huge bonus as stairs not easy to negotiate after a few polish beers! We had the apartment for six people and whilst it suited our needs perfectly it would not have suited quite so perfectly had we been three couples. Also because of the steepness of the stairs it would be rather dangerous for the very young or elderly. There is only one bathroom and toilet and again I think this would be a problem if shared by three couples. The apartment was clean and well maintained with clean towels and bedding every day. The reception was manned twenty four hours and the staff were very polite and helpful. It also felt very safe and secure which is a huge plus when holidaying with a group of girls. Overall I would highly recommend these apartments in terms of location, cleanliness and value for money. I would advise a telephone call in the first instance to determine which room you have been allocated if you travelling with other couples, young children or elderly relatives.

Room Tip: Make a phone call to discuss your requirements.

We stayed in the Red Brick Apartments for one night. I think we could say it was the best priced apartment we have stayed in - in the world. About a 5 mins walk to the main train station ( airport train goes straight to this station) about a 10 mins lovely walk through the old town to the square. Very clean and quiet.

Staff were extremely helpful and polite. They recommended an excellent veggie restaurant around the corner which we popped to on our arrival for some lunch. Try the spinach pancakes!

If we come back to Krakow this would be our only choice for accommodation.

So much better than we ever expected - do not let the reception fool you! Beautifully decorated in a modern classic style. So much room, I believe the apartments used to be residential and you can tell because it really feels like a home from home. Great location, 5-10 minutes walk from the square.

Great welcome, spotlessly clean, helpful staff, their taxi drivers a perfect gentleman and very obliging. I nearly sent him in wrong direction but.....he knew best, thankfully.
Apartment had all I needed - and more. Fridge/bar very reasonable - unlike many hotels I've been in. Thanks, guys

Room Tip: Mine overlooked road but never disturbed.

Everyone says that these apartments are in a great location and they were not wrong, turn left at the front entrance then left at the corner, and within a minute or two you were on one of the streets leading you to the Main Sq. The apartment had every thing you needed, towels were changed every day and some tea and coffee were supplied as were two bottles of water, there was also a minibar stock in the fridge, and the price list was not bad if you wanted an extra drink. Turn right at the front door and right at the next corner and there is a small supermarket, if you need milk or bread etc. they seemed to sell everything. Trips can be booked at reception, but no hard sell, the girls on reception all spoke English and answered our queries. Only one small complaint there was an overwhelming smell of fried food in the reception area, thankfully when we were in our room you could not smell anything. I would recommend these apartments to anyone visiting Krakow, very good value for money
