My friend picked this one by recommendation and we just love it. We have stayed in the room that is located on the top floor which is a duplex apartment. This is a great room especially if you are traveling with a group of people.

This hotel is also located in not an expensive part of the city. It is right beside the mall and the train station. I have also found a tasty vegetarian restaurant right beside it. It is in a walking distance to historical area.

Basically, we truly enjoyed our stay and as I have stated, wish the breakfast is included.

Our decision to travel to Kracow was by impulse and thus helpful personnel helped us to find bike rentals, routes to take, nice restaurants and pubs for football.

Located in walking distance from everything. Coveniently close to touristy and mall shopping.

Recommended to travellers appreciating active holiday with clean and nicely located accommodation.

We booked this hotel mainly because its close location to the train station, Galeria Krakowska shopping mall, bus station and Old Town. Everything is a 5-minute walk away. The apartments are spacious and ensure a comfortable stay for friends and families looking for a longer vacation in Krakow. Our apartment had a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, TV, free wifi, computer and a safe. Unfortunately, we were missing an oven, iron and washing machine. There certainly would be enough space in the apartment for all these amenities. Also, there is no A/C so it can get a little hot, especially on the top floors. The hotel provides fans in the bedrooms, though.
There is no breakfast at the hotel, so you have to prepare your own breakfast, buy a breakfast voucher for the hotel next door or go to a cafe. There's a really good bakery right next to the hotel that is open all day.

The hotel is need of a renovation, because it is looking really tired and worn. The service by the hotel staff could also be improved. The hotel is fine, but we would probably choose another hotel with breakfast included next time.

Behind the old facade is a thoroughly modern interior. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was excellent, dishwasher, fridge, hotplates – no oven. Utensils, crockery, glasses all present and matching – no odd cups/damaged items. There were ‘welcome’ items, of bottled water, coffees and teas, also washing-up liquid and paper kitchen wipes provided. Very clean, altogether the signs are of a well-managed and high standard apartment, this we found to be the case.

A safe (free), HDTV (bit of a mystery operating with 2 handsets, but figured out eventually). Hairdryer, lots of cupboard space.

Our top floor apartment was on two levels. It was too hot when sunny and the portable air-conditioner unit would be necessary on hotter days.

Reception manned 24 hrs. and the 3 different receptionists we met were all very helpful and pleasant.
Cleaner came every day, towels changed etc. This was unexpected, we thought we’d be responsible for our own cleaning for our short stay.

Location is excellent. A 10 minute stroll to the central area, a huge shopping centre 200 yards, tram lines adjacent, the bus and railway stations another few yards.

A few restaurants nearby, hundreds a stroll away. We visited three, one just around the corner ‘Jarema’, another in Florianska Street (which you’ll walk down if going toward the centre) ‘Pod Zlota Pipa’, and one right in the main square, Rynek 44. I will be providing reviews.

Room Tip: Top rooms may be too hot on sunny days.

We stayed at Red Brick Apartments for 3 nights and had a comfortable stay. The location was ideal as it was situated fairly close to the main square (10 or 15 minute walk), the mall, and the train/bus station. This was especially great as we arrived at the bus station fairly late at night. The hotel was also near plenty of quick breakfast stops/bakeries. The room was a bit weathered but there was plenty of space and we slept comfortably.

I stayed at Red brick with 4 friends, for a `cultured` hen do in Krakow.
We picked this hotel on the strength of the reviews and the location and we were not disappointed.
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 5 people, which was on the top floor and to our /pleasant / surprise was a duplex, with a kitchen, bathroom and large sitting room downstairs and a spacious loft-style bedroom upstairs. There was a king size bed in the living room and 3 single beds upstairs and both had lots of extra room for our suitcases and bits and bobs.
We could not fault the decor and mod/cons, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer in the kitchen, lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom, with toiletries and cotton buds and all the usual other bathroom things. Everything was just very tastefully appointed, the apartment had lots of light and high ceilings so at no point did we feel crammed in. Also, since this is a hotel, rather than a holiday apartment on its own, we had daily cleaning service and everything was replenished.
Also all the receptionists spoke great English and all were lovely and helpful. They arranged taxis for us and a mini tour bus as well, to pick us up straight from the hotel. We also booked a tour to Auschwitz through Red brick, which was arranged before our arrival, via email. it was a great way to visit the camp, as it was the first time for all of us and our private driver picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel.
The location it perfect, very quiet but still only about a 5 minute walk from the Barbican Gate and Ulica Florianska and all it`s hustle and bustle.
To sum it up, beautiful, comfortable, and at £295 between 5 for 3 nights an affordable bit of luxury. I would not hesitate to stay again.

I've been to Red Brick Apartments a few times, on business, and I cannot be happier. The apartments are large, clean, comfortable, in an old building but with modern decor. There is practically no noise from outside as you are away from the tram lines.

Location-wise, I feel this is the best place to be in Krakow: You are very close to Główny train station, the bus station, and a large shopping centre. The city centre is under 10 minutes by foot, passing some of the sights, so you can get to the main square for a piwo very easily.

I will be returning here as often as I'm coming back to Krakow. A great place and such fantastic value!
