Bit of an impromptu visit as I was in the area for work. The hotel I was staying is right next-door to the brewery so They made the arrangements for me. They found two tours that were done in English, (German and of course Polish tours are also available).
Ideally you should book a few days in advance. Cost was 12 Zlotys (about £4) and for that you also got a rather nice pint glass to keep and a 500ml glass of beer to drink in the basement pub under the museum wing.
Tour consisted of a small tour around the interactive museum, a 3D video on the history of the brewery (The 3D was slightly unnecessary, but not unpleasant and the information was good)
Then a tour of the working brewery again lots of interesting sights and facts.
Finally a visit to the Pub with a free drink.
The Pub is open until 8pm so if you want to really enjoy the experience you may want to go early enough to do the tour and relax in a charming cellar pub. I went at 5pm and it was a little late rally to do it. It was dark outside when we did the tour so not very many good photos
No children(or anyone under 18 allowed on the tour)
A nice trip to do with friends I would suggest.

Tyskie Brewery is probably one of the most remarkable places I've ever visited! Lots of interesting sights to see, everyone can see how the beer is being brewed, and of course' fantastic relishing of the Tyskie Beer in the museum's pub! One of the best places to visot in Poland!

Excellent guide, very knowledgable about the brewery and brewing in general. Can't remember her name think marrianna? Interesting to see the various buildings and processes. Much better and less commerical than the Guiness tour in Dublin. No hard sell and a good pint at the end.

Topolinco had a bad day. I visited this place four times and I cannot agree with him.
Tychy is not a small town. Small town in Poland is about 10000 p. Tychy is more than 100000 p, so it's a mid.
Tyskie Brewery is a huge brewery. One of the biggest in the world. It produces about 8 million hl a year. It's related with brands like - Pilsner Urquell, Miller, Peroni, Grolsch, Tyskie, Lech, Zubr, Redds, Gingers etc.
One part of the tour is the brewery - you can touch monuments (but still active), you can see nice headquarters, brewery duty room, bottling line (60 000 bottles /h). And the greatest brewhouse Numer 3 with original copper vats. 5 years ago we could also go downstairs to see new fermentation. It's the only brewery in the world where you can see such things, so I can't understand why Topolinco said it's worse than Heineken. Heineken and Zywiec are kind of Disneyland - good for children (it should be forbidden) but not for beer experts.
The second part of the tour is the museum - I agree with Topolinco - it's not "beer disneyland", but it shouldn't be, becaouse all original things and buildings you can see outside are better than any marketing ideas to promote brand in the museum. This is why those bottles and cans you can see in the museum should be only for interested people. Guides shouldn't walk and walk and walk for 40 minutes with groups around those things because it becomes boring. People are inteligent and know how to use multimedia and look at beer mats.
Another thing is 3D cinema. Everybody says this 3D doesn't work. My guide was better than Topolico's, and explained that film was produced in 2004 when it was novelty so we shouldn;t compare it to cheaper new technology like modern 3d tvs which are better. When I was the second time there I watched the film in Browarium in 2D (second proj. didn't work) and it was great. Nice film and good for eyes in 2D.
Generally speaking - Guides should start the film only in 2D. It's better than 3D!!! If you visit this place ask for 2D.
I had 3 different guides, and fortunately it's not the same - each brewery tour was different so it was still interesting for me. Guides are people, so maybe Topolinco got a guide with not similar sense of humour.
You compare it to Heineken. OK, One ticket in Tychy costs - 2 or 4 euro and you get one fresh beer, one limited glass, and 2h tour. Do you still want to say something about Heineken or Carsberg museums?
Topolinco - it's the museum for beer experts, it's not another beer disneyland with jumping clowns.

It's clear Tychy is a small town and the brewery cannot compete with some great european beer museums such as eg Heineken museum in Amsterdam but still...with this kind of infrastructure they could have been doing much better...
Starting from the beginning: " 3D" movie - at first the system is down and needs a hard reset so you wait for couple of minutes and then you see anyway almost nothing unless you close one eye because only in this confition the screen is clearly visible...its a case of glasses of the system set up (projector) but no one cares..the guide informed about the problem , answers : " I haven't made those glasses, would it ibe better for you to see naked girls with this glasses or.." - highly unacceptable attitude
Then - the trip proceeds in retty borong way , with guide lecture only and no possibility to use interactive games or similar. The only interesting part for me was a short possibility to see the prodcution process but even then you are asked to hurry up and come out quickly...
The end of the trip is finished with a bonus beer at the bar which is very ńice but it is so many times repeted by the guide from the very beginning as if really people were coming only for the sake of a free glass of beer...:/
Even if we stopped for s while at the souvenier shop the guide was always rushing us to go and get the free beer immediately ( don't they want to sell the things from the shop? :/ )
The pub is very nice indeed , beer is perfect and its definitely worth testing because is not pasteurized and has really great taste!!
The idea itself of the musem like that in Tychy is also very good, in fact tyskie beer is the one which won twice world championship which is great achievement !
So all in all the idea of having such museum in Tychy is very positive ...but ...guys...you really can do iit better !!

Thank Topolinco
