Very well renovated spot. The owner, Mr Napierala, took care about each detail and returned this palace to perfection. Accommodation and restaurant are overpriced but I assume the owner targets in a specific group of customers. Food in the restaurant was disappointing, especially that price was quite high. However it is not a big problem as there is a great food place in Lomnica Palace which is just 5 minutes walk from Wojanów. What I liked is that everyone can enter the gardens in Wojanów Palace which is great as it serves the whole community and has not become one of those sad exclusive places. You can rent a bike to visit the local area. Service is very good. All look fabulous, especially during the summer time.

I stay at Palac Wojanow for one night and overall experience was good however I do have a few concerns which I'd like to share with other travellers. Price 350 PLN per night is in my opinion to much for provided standard (room without fridge - bar, old very tiny TV). I expected a full service in the room which contains modern TV with the reception systems (wake up service etc.). Restaurants offers good selection of food and prices are not as high as someone may expect even tho it's above average. Breakfast is excellent and I have nothing to add. Wellness area also meats high standards and I was very happy to enjoy inside pool with sauna.. This place is great for weekend but there are still a place for improvements.

Food in the palace restaurant exquisite and the breakfasts at a good level, all delicious, you can rent nordic walking sticks and bicycles kept in very good condition, equipment branded and very good quality! It is nicely kept pool, sauna and gym, around a lot of tourist attractions- impressive castles, palaces and mountains, in palaces and churches are organized all kinds of concerts and exhibitions. Staff tried very hard, only one thing is missing in that moment in the palace- it's a concierge service but for the resourceful people and such are traverels is only a small defect:)

Room Tip: It doesn't matter whether the room is in the palace or in the annexe (oficyna), all are very goo...

We spent one night in hotel Wojanow and were a bit disappointed. Food was great and stuff very friendly. Rooms were clean and park behind the castle fantastic. Hotel is situated in a beautiful part of Poland with great landscapes but the hotel buildings are just couple of meters from street and there is some industry just on the other side. I was a bit surprise that swimming pool area can be so dirty in such a good and relatively expensive hotel (also, there were no changing rooms). It was also quite full probably because it is open not only for the hotel guests but also for everybody. The feeling is far from exclusive and luxurious... Overall there were a lot of closed doors everywhere. You need to move from buiding to building (in one there is Spa, in another breakfast, another for dinner and the fourth one where we slept). We planned to organize a big party there but changed our mind…

Room Tip: If you wand to have a nice room- ask for the palace. Otherwise you might have a view on the street a...

Fantastic hotel with main Palac and surrounding hotel parts. We stayed on first floor (Room 515) of Studowa which means barn - and this was a few yards from"private" entrance to the spa. Our 4 night stay was £26 per person per night which included use of spa - large and clean indoor pool, jacuzzi steam room and sauna: Breakfast - very good buffet with lots of choice, Dinner - waitress service, reasonable menu choice, but not large quantities.

Very relaxing being in beautiful surroundings. tennis courts. Nice drives and walks in surrounding areas, but no big attractions. Only downside was drive from Warsaw - 5 to 6 hours - only half on motorway. Krakow would be nearer.

Best to call and discuss what is on offer - special deals, room options, etc

Room Tip: Main Palac is very nice with its own restaurant but may be more expensive, I believe. Stodola is ver...

We held our wedding here last week and it was without doubt the best decision we made.

The Palace is beautiful. With a classical exterior, the interior has been modernised intelligently, without losing the traditional feel. Most guests stayed in various quarters around the palace grounds, and all were impressed with the condition of the rooms and general spaciousness. There could have been coffee making facilities, irons in the room (instead of borrowing from reception) and a full length mirror, but these are simply minor observations. In any case I'm led to believe coffee making facilities in rooms is not a common practice in Poland. We stayed within the actual palace and our apartment was incredibly beautiful, with lovely views and a very regal feel.

The wedding itself was very well organised - firstly by Marta and then by Patrycja (who took over due to Maternity leave). We are based in England, yet communication was never an issue as both had first class command of the English language. Initially when we went to taste the food (a few months beforehand) the restaurant mixed up the menu (managed to be resolved on the day), and the wine tasting was fairly limited to a glass each. However, this did not stop us being able to choose a wonderful menu for the wedding with perfectly good wines to accompany the meal. The wild boar in wild mushroom sauce was incredible. Usually people forget wedding food quite quickly, yet many English guests are still commenting on the standard of cuisine served here. The late night buffet was also good but the highlight was without doubt the flaming pork leg which was served around 11pm - cooked to perfection and without doubt one of the best pork dishes man has ever sampled.

One minor qualm during the wedding party, was that staff kept closing the door to the hall and wouldnt open the windows due to potential complaints of noise by other guests. This was the height of summer, so it was inevitable there would be a large spill of guests sitting outside or spending more time outside to cool down. You would have thought the hotel should have acknowledged this factor and ensured any other guests were either based as far away from the hall as possible, or at least briefed that there would be a wedding here.

An initial worry of mine was that they often hold two weddings here simultaneously. Although there wasn't another wedding here at the same time as ours, there was apparently a large party (with fireworks) held in an opposite hall. Nobody even noticed, which was brilliant really. Marta did tell me that such an occurrence shouldnt be a problem, and as it turned out she was completely right.

A further concern of mine was that the bar areas seemed quite small to cater for a large-ish group from England. However, there was no need to ever worry about this, as both the palace bar, reception bar and the bar on the other side of the fountain were all perfectly adequate in size for this group (most definitely helped by the balmy weather). A good suggestion that was made to us was to have a BBQ for the guests arriving on the Friday as 50+ could prove problematic for the restaurant. We went for this option and it did indeed work well, with a good and plentiful meal.

I didn't personally make use of the pool and spa facilities, but those who did were very impressed. The pool is much larger than a standard hotel pool and even has a strongish current to swim against. The jacuzzi is also of a large size.

Overall, the Palace is stunning, like something out of a fairy tale. Beautiful, incredibly large grounds with a river running the length of the area. The Palace is also a great point to visit neighbouring attractions such as Jelenia Gora, Karpacz, or the other incredibly scenic areas found all around this particular part of Poland. It is also an absolutely brilliant place to hold a wedding. Its a weekend we will remember for the rest of our lives (as also will our guests) and I honestly could not think of anywhere else we would have held our wedding reception.

Thanks to everyone for being so helpful and accommodating. I will always recommend Palac Wojanow for a wedding, or simply to spend a few days in if you happen to be in this beautiful part of the world. We will most certainly return.

Room Tip: Hopefully the staff would advise if you were staying above a hall where there is a wedding reception...

We stayed in the steward house due to our party of 4. The beds were adequate, quietness was adequate. Mosquitos - horrific at night. Keep your windows closed! There is no AC, no fans. The pool was excellent - lots of fun for the kids. The breakfast was a hit for one of the children. All left the meal filled until late afternoon! Advise staying in the palace proper - MUCH better experience however, no room for 4 people in 1 room.

Room Tip: Stay in the palace; not the carriage house or auxillary buildings. Much better experience! We stayed...
