Convenient hotel (just 5 tram stops from old town)

Review of Hotel Vega
3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 4 May 2016
We stayed in the Hotel Vega on the end of April, in a double superior room.

Good things:

- Price: it was OK for being a high season (close to the 1st-May bank holiday)
- Staff: gently faces in reception.
- Breakfast: it was OK.
- A Lidl supermarket just out of the front door.
- Free WIFI.
- Tram stop just in front of the hotel, just 5 tram stops to get to the Old Town.

Cons:

- Baby cot: you have to pay for it
- Parking: you have to pay for it (28zl/day), but there's free parking just outside the hotel.
- No frills in the room. TV set is just too old, shower water temperature was difficult to set. No fridge in the room. The kid's bed is a sofa-bed (not so confortable a as "normal" bed).

Nice hotel in Wroclaw. About 5 km from centrum. The hotel is very fine standard and the room and service is top. The cleaning level has to be better. And the food is not the best.
But the price you Pay, match perfekt what you get..

I visited the university and was staying there for two days. Very nice hotel and I recommend it to those who might visit the university in the future. The Internet is not very strong. Breakfast is very good. Room is very clean. Services are good, too.

On the outskirts of Wroclaw and far away from Railway station, easily accesible by car. Excellent service and fine rooms with breakfast. Reasonable prices. TV in room. No computer available, just Wifi.

nice quiet hotel located in a good place, close to downtown and the old town
near the supermaket, gas station-if someone is planning on a longer stay
very clean, tidy rooms and suites -delightfully helpful room service and restaurant staff
even as noasleepan breakfast, they give everything without a problem and serve with a smile
recommended for business and private voyages ;-)

Room tip: already stayed there several times and no diffrence in what room all were on the same comfort-quiet and clean,

The Vega hotel maintains a good level of services.
Nice rooms, always clean, properly equipped.
Good, fast wifi offers you a quick access to your virtual world.
You can always count on a helpful staff that will greet you at the the front desk.

Interesting, tasty breakfast. Warm food is not served from heated plates so ask the waiter if you want scrambled eggs for instance.
After very good breakfast you will be rather disappointed with just average taste of food offered for lunch / dinner - its taste does not follow attractive look and prices are rather above the polish average.
Overall - still a good place and interesting ( and cheaper ) alternative to central city hotels.
