Had some sushi fever, looked through tripadvisor and came up with visiting this place, being tempted by the pictures, with fear to be disappointed by reality=)
As it appeared this place was better than I expected. Food is tasty, service is quick and caring, and if you are bored you can sit at the bar and watch the long process of sushi-making, which will likely disappear in few moments when get to customer=)

Only warning for potential visitors: it is closed from Monday to Wednesday.

I have been to this place several times since it opened. They have some very tasty dishes on the menu. But quite often they lack one or the other ingredient and you can not have what you came for.
I was there yesterday and the service was polite but chaotic and painfully slow. We stood there waiting to be seated for over 10 minutes, while waiters were coming and going and nobody seem to know how to successfully join two tables. The soups were not hot enough and not spicy enough. To get a bottle of water we had to ask for it three times. It was quite embarrassing as I had foreign guests, with whom I wanted to enjoy a meal in a nice place.
The whole experience was spoilt really by the service and will think twice before coming back.

1) Cleanliness and simple bright design invites you to take a sit and order.
2) Service is quick and helpful, not to mention sushimasters who are professionals with
vast knowledge.
3) You dont need to order from menu list. I would rather recommend you to tell a cook(sushimaster) what you would like to see in your sushi or dish, or what you would like to avoid, or simply whats your favorite taste...they will surprise you with a beautiful, delicious meal.
4) In some dishes you can find incredibly good and surprising combination of flavors ( raspberries+baked salmon, mango+tuna maki or basil ice creams for dessert).
5) good choice of teas.
6) Salmon tatar highly recommended.

I can go with recommending this place for hours, but sincerely its worth to visit and spend a last penny on it.

Szajnochy is not for the faint of budget, but if you're coming from a more affluent country, then consider this place to have an excellent dinner or lunch with your companion. For pickled seaweed as a starter, a big sushi plate for two and tea we paid 123zl / 29€ / 37$.

What really struck me was the quality of the products. Fish was truly fresh and melted in your mouth. No tastes were overpowering and it was easy to discern the different ingredients. Things that stood out the most on our selection were the seaweed starter, hosomaki with salmon and uramaki with salmon tartar. I don't recommend the tuna. They also know how to serve tea and they seem to have a high quality selection of teas for sushi.

The interior of the place was more to my liking than my partner's. The place is very well decorated with minimalistic dark wooden furniture which gives the place a very nice organic feel. The ceiling decorations were also very well thought out. The some minuses are that the place can get quite noisy when other customers are talking louder, they didn't put much attention to windows in interior design and the walls are quite heavily decorated with paintings, which is a slight contrast to otherwise minimalistic decor.

If you don't need high privacy then sit by the seats facing the chefs. You'll get to see your meal prepared.

As a seasonal resident of Wroclaw I have frequently eaten at Szajnochy. I'm quite happy to say that the quality of the dining experience has been great over the last couple of years. This past Saturday we ordered a large take out order for a party at our apartment. Rave reviews from everyone in attendance. If you're in Wroclaw and have an urge for sushi, or just want a lovely meal prepared with professional care, Szajnochy is the place to go.
