As I keep saying Poland did not strike me as a gastronomic location. However, we did enjoy our meals in Poland and there is no benefit in comparing these eateries to other parts of the world we have visited. The food everywhere we ate was plentiful and reminiscent of a hearty home cooked meal. This was one of the best places we ate in.
We were lucky to get the last table in this place. I had Beetroot soup and dumplings as a starter which was tasty and very interesting. I then had a huge Pork knuckle which came with potato, sauerkraut, and veg. My wife had a nice pork tenderloin which was served with a delicious creamed spinach. My wife loved this spinach so much she is looking for the recipe!
The servers were nice and friendly and helpful with ordering.
We also had two beers and waters. We paid 80 zloty for a good meal in a nice atmosphere.
